UNPREDICTED LOVE

Chapter Eleven

                         - Regina's POV -
A month went by and baby Mia had fit into our little family home perfectly, Henry was staying with me and David more frequently now he had his baby sister to keep him company and we had made the nursery for her, right across from Henry's room.

Me and Henry were sat in the living room with Baby Mia in Henry's arms being cuddled by him and I was teaching him how to bottle feed her still, when David popped his head round the door

"I'm just going out I'll be back soon" I stared in confusion

"Where are you going?" he glanced for a moment before quickly replying

"Uh just to help Emma with some sherrifs paperwork" and then he grabbed his coat and quickly dashed out of the door.

I gazed off in confusion and I didn't completely believe him, I knew I had to trust David but for some reason recently I had been getting quite cautious and untrustworthy of him, I just had this feeling that he was lying to me.

I shrugged it off "Hey, Henry want to help me put Mia to bed?" I said

"Sure mum!" and we went upstairs and Henry helped me put Mia in her cot, as he was pulling her blanket over her I glanced at the window and just caught a glimpse of David as he turned the corner towards mainstreet and yet again began to wonder off in thought of where he might be going.

I knew I was overreacting but I decided to call Emma. "Hey Emma, uh how's the sherrifs work going?" I asked not knowing what else to say

"Sherrifs work? What do you mean Regina?" she replied and that's when I twitched in confusion once more

"Uh David said he was going to meet you about some sherrifs work? Are-are you not at the station?" I quickly replied in worry

"No, I'm with Snow at her apartment sorry Regina, maybe he's just gone alone and didn't want you to worry he was going to be by himself at the station after the attack we had recently from the chernabog?" Emma exclaimed

"Uh, yeah that's probably it" I replied before hanging up and holding the phone up to my chest.

Henry turned round and glanced at him "Hey mum what's wrong?" Henry asked

"Uh nothing Henry" I wandered over and noticed he had tucked Mia in properly and she had dozed off to sleep.

"Well done Henry you got her to sleep" I smiled and hugged him to my side gently.

"Now, how about you go and do some of your homework young man" I said strictly

"Yes mum" and Henry ran off to his room.

I began to think more about where David could of possibly been going, I sat down into the rocking chair in the corner of the nursery, he had snuck out of the diner that time we announced about baby Mia, he snuck off again the other day and now he's snuck out again. I knew it was thinking way out of possibility but a small part of me thought something was up.

I never considered it being he was cheating on me, I couldn't it was to surreal that he would ever do that, but I knew something else was definitely up so I decided to ask him about it when he returned.
