Chapter Twenty-Two

                         - David's POV -
I noticed as Regina's face dropped "Its an old friend.. she goes by Cruella De Vil" she said and I froze

"No, she..she's the one who took Henry and Mia" I said

"Why? Why what could you possibly want with them? How did she even get here?" I asked and Regina put her lips up to her mouth and ssshed me.

She turned back round and peered in and I waited impatiently wondering what she was seeing.

"I see Henry..he's he's tied up to a chair" she says and I move forward

"I swear if she hurts him or Mia" I say but Regina stops me

"David, I will deal with it okay she's an old friend I know how to handle her" I say and he nods before we sneak back round to the front.

"So what's the plan?" I ask

"I'll go in and try and distract her while you sneak in and try and get Mia and Henry through the back door" Regina says and I nod

"Alright, be careful though she could be dangerous" I say and she laughs

"I can handle myself David, you make sure you're okay though".

I do as Regina said and I sneak round to the back before slowly turning the door handle, luckily it isn't locked and I mange to get in. I come out into a little hallway leading to a living room and I can see the door cracked open which is where Cruella is with Henry and Mia.

I carefully sneak into the living room and hide away from sight while I wait for Regina to come in.

                         - Regina's POV -
I see David go round the back I hope he can get in okay, while I stay out the front to create a distraction. First I start to use my magic to break some branches of trees outside the windows and then I begin to make noises of feet scraping and running.

I peer round the corner and notice Cruella appear at the window of the kitchen and I quickly dash behind some hedges and hide. Once she walks back to the centre of the room away from the window I begin to make more noises closer to the house and near the window which then she reappears before disappearing, a few moments later I hear the door handle squeak and she enters onto the foyer outside before scanning round.

I quickly start making sounds alongside the house to distract her away while David runs in and rescues Mia and Henry.

I see Cruella looking around the side of the house, and then I swiftly change my view to the window where I spot David untying Henry from the chair, just then Cruella begins to move back towards the door and I panic before trying to make more noise, I panic and flash my magic trying to create any distraction but it backfired and she turns round and spots me before whoosing and my magic disappearing.

I try to form a fireball but it's no use and she rushes over and I begin to run.

I trip and fall over a tree stump, but as I turn to get back up, there she is standing above me with something raised in her hand.

I try to see but before I can get a good look she forcefully brings it down and smacks me in the head, knocking me unconscious.

- David's POV -
I manage to untie Henry, before desperdlty looking around for Mia. "Henry! Where's Mia?!" I ask panicked

"I don't know, I was asleep when I was kidnapped and when I woke up I was tied here" he replied and my face turned cold.

I stood for a moment wondering where the hell she could be before realising I still needed to rescue Henry. I grabbed a hold of his hand before we ran towards the door, I scanned over towards the window and noticed that Regina had disappeared from her hiding space, and so had Cruella.

I assumed this meant hopefully Regina had gotten away, so I rushed out with Henry and we got to my truck which was parked further up the deserted road before climbing in and driving back towards Regina's house.

- Regina's POV -
I woke up and I was in the woods, my head was still spinning and I could feel it throbbing. I groaned before trying to bring my hand up to massage my head but I felt a tug. I looked down and noticed my arms had been tied around the tree, and I was actually stuck.

I huffed before glancing around for Cruella, I then heard a voice "Oh, look who's finally woken up" she said as she appeared from behind me and came to face me.

She grinned an evil smile "So, Regina I was hoping for a better reunion but I guess this will have to do" she said sighing and I glared at her

"Why are you here, Cruella" I said through gritted teeth.

"Well, because the queens of darkness are rejoining the band of course and all we were missing was our best member" she said and I looked at her in shock

"You and the...the others are all here?" I shot and she nodded

"Oh Yes...well not here exactly but waiting on the townline to cross over, but for that I need you" she explains.

"How did you get here then?" I said glaring

"Well from the one and only of course" she said sneering

"Rumple" I groaned in realisation.

"So what did you need Henry and Mia?" I said

"Well to get your attention of course, I knew you wouldn't willingly help me alone so I needed something to use against you, like your children of course" she replied.

I felt the anger fill me "I swear if you try to hurt my children, I will kill you with my bare hands Cruella don't test me" I snapped back and she oooed before laughing and putting her hands up to her fur coat and walking in circles and I continued to glare at her.

"Now, this is the plan. You are going to take me to the townline and let Ursula and Maleficent across....or I will kill Henry and Mia oh and whoever else I feel like instead?! So do we have a deal" she says

"deal" i say keeping my control.

She brings the rope back round, and I rub at my wrists where the rope had dug in before she signals for me to follow and we walk out towards the edge of the woods and along the road to the townline.
