Jack's p.o.v

I quickly grabbed my car keys and ran out of the apartment. I had to make sure Lauren was alright. She mentioned that she started to hate herself but I don't know what Briy was talking about.

I knocked on her door about five minutes later. It didn't take me long to get here, seen as I drove fast.

"Jack." She engulfed me in a hug.

"It's okay, I'm here." I soothed whilst shutting the door. I moved us over to her sofa. She sat there on my lap.

"I don't even know what to say." She cried.

"You don't have to say anything but just know that I'm here for you always." I stroked her hair.

Lauren's p.o.v

I didn't know whether to tell him or not. I mean, I probably should; I'm not keeping secrets from him.

After moments of Considering my thoughts, I began to tell him the next part of my story. "So, they ran off together. Left me in coma. I woke up and refused to go out of the house when I was released. They said some pretty horrible things to me. I thought I was fat and you know what that means. I wouldn't do anything. Briy told me I wasn't. She denied everything they said to me. But it didn't mean anything. I didn't believe her. I told myself I'd never talk to a boy ever again. I wouldn't have my dream of being a parent and I would never trust anybody again," I smiled looking forward to saying the next part, "But then you came along. You called me beautiful and that made my year. It really did. We started to talk and I'm not going to lie, I did get worried the same thing would happen again because of your 'player' ways."

I rolled my eyes which made him chuckle. "But I didn't see that when I met you, I saw someone caring."

"You are beautiful. And you have got through it. Now, I know you're stronger than ever and I promise you, I'm not going anywhere!" He put his hand under my chin.

"Promise?" I held my little finger out. Call me childish. Do whatever you want but I needed to know.

"Promise," He linked his with mine, "You like a cheeky finger don't you?" He smirked as I got up.

"Nah, I prefer this type." I said and held up my middle finger.

He laughed.
