Kyla POV
I was busy texting one of my cheerleaders, Lyndsey, she was one of my best gymnasts with her long wavy dark brown hair and deep brown eyes, a lot of guys had crushes on her. Unfortunately for them she was taken by one of the school's football player, Justin Camero..
Lyndsey: KYLS! im rilly sorry!! i cant attend the game tonite:( justin twisted his ankle during practice today:" and he needed me to go to the hospital w/him u know how clingy he gets:( im sorry kyla i promise i'll make it up to you k? hope you're not mad at me :(
Me:
Its fine Lynds i can get gwen to do your stunts just for today.. hope he gets better :)
Now.. My next task is.... Drum roll pleaseeeeee!!!! Find Gwen and the rest of my squad.. As I looked around the practice field I spotted the red-head stretching near the bleachers, I jogged towards her while calling her name that's when a bulldozer hit me. Okay maybe that was overreacting but something did hit me and it was hugeee! This is actually rare in this school, no one dares to bump into anyone who sits at the popular table and since I'm the cheerleading captain I get to sit at the table. And when I turned my head around to see what I hit that's when I saw the most amazing blue eyes I have ever seen. Again that was exaggerating but I gotta admit dem eyes are pretty beautiful.
"Oh I'm so sorry! I didn't see you there." the 'bulldozer' said, strangely enough that voice was familiar but I just couldn't put a finger on it.
"Yeah it's fine" I replied while dusting off grass from my red cheer skirt.
"Actually I might as well embarrass myself even further then.. Umm.. Do you happen to know where the boys locker room is?" he flushed while pushing his messily styled strawberry blonde hair away from his forehead.
"Ahh.. You're new aren't you?" I smirked.
"Is it that obvious? I'm Cameron by the way. And you are?" he gave me a small smile.
"Yes and hello to you too Cameron. I'm Kyla." I offered my hand towards him.
" Hi Kyla. And looks like you're a cheerleader huh?" he questions as he took my hand in his.
"Nice observation Cam. Captain actually and I gotta run now we have a game to cheer for tonight, and as for your question the boys locker room is located at the east side of the building just go straight once you enter the building and turn right when you find a trophy case. Bye Cameron, I'll see you when I see you." I began to jog and waved at him.
"Thanks Kyles"
"No prob"

"Gwen!"
"Hey Kyles. Whassup?"
"Lyndsey can't make it to the game tonight because of some boyfriend issues. I need you to do her stunt for her. Can you help me with that?" I asked her with my famous puppy dog eyes that always seem to work.
"Yea of course. But whose going to go up the pyramid in my place?" she questioned with a worried look on her face.
"Yea about that too, umm can you talk to Alicia about that? She's off from the dance group for tonight and she will be on your place by the pyramid k?" I ordered
"Okay"
"Just tell her captain's orders" I called out as I jogged back to the locker room. I mean how many girls could go for more than 5minutes after meeting a cute guy who wasn't a jackass and not tell her bestfriend about it? Definitely not me.
"LACE! Hey girl!" I gave her a secretive smile.
"Okay lemme guess.. You met a cute guy didn't you?" she laughed. Oh how she knows me.
"Yes. And no I don't have a crush on him and I will not have a crush on him alright Lace?" I pointed out when she gave me knowing smile. It's true though I don't want a boyfriend at the moment, why you may ask? Well, 1)I need to focus on my studies. 2)I have family problems to handle. 3) I don't believe nice boys in high school exist. 4) I'm afraid of getting hurt. Again.
"Finefine whatever you say Kyl whatever you say" she gave me a bloody smirk! What the hell was that?
"Righttt.. Anyways what's up with you and my brother again?" I hit her with the question she always feared of being asked. That's my way to shut her up about my non-existent lovelife.
"Nothingg.." she stammered. "Urghh fine! But you have to promise you won't ask Kaden about this okay???" I nodded.
"Okay.. Here goes nothing. Kadenaskedmeouttoprom" she mumbled.
"I'm sorry what was that?" I smirked and asked her to repeat eventhough I understood her the first time
"Kaden asked me out to prom."
"AAAAA FINALLY! Eventhough I haven't exactly foreseen him having enough balls to ask you out soon but I'm glad that I was wrong and that he finally did" I commented about my brother's lack of courage when it comes to girls as I hugged my possible future sister-in-law hey don't judge I' quite good at seeing the future. Not.
