"Soooooooooooooo...."
"What is it Lacey?" I sighed as I dropped my magazine, this is the third time in 10minutes that she disturbed my focus.
"Prom."
"Prom what?"
"WHO ARE YOU GOING WITH DUH?" she gave me a sassy look.
"Cameron." I replied nonchalantly.
"THE CAMERON?! BULLDOZER CLOSET CAMERON?!" she was pretty much jumping up and down my bed.
"Yes and yes."
"Okay. You know what gurl? We have got some shopping to do! LET'S GO!" she made a dash for the door.
"WAIT! I'm calling Allison, Gwen and Hazel first they might want to go too.""
"OKAY BUT HURRY UP!!"
"Geez! Calm down woman!"
There's no use in telling her that anyways as she was downstairs and starting the car by the time I finished texting Alli, Hazel and Gwen.

"Hello girls.. Welcome to Rosa's Dresses. I am Cynthia. How may I help you today?" a pretty red head who was at her early 30s, ushered us towards the stack of colorful dresses.
"Hi. I'm Lacey, this is Kyla, Gwen, Hazel and Allison. We're from Pacific High and we need prom dresses like right now." Lacey chirped in a hurry, geez Lace why don't you tell her where we live just for buying dresses.
"Oh.. Hello and may I know what kind of dresses you may be looking for?" she still gave Lacey a polite smile.
"Well, I am looking for an ankle-length dress preferably a devil red?" Lacey quickly responded.
"Okay.. This is Kayla and she will show you to the fitting room and she will bring you some dresses." Cynthia gestured to a young girl probably a bit older that us towards Lacey.
"Well, I would like a high-low hemmed dress but I'm still not sure what color will fit me right." Hazel shrugged.
"Well with your blonde colored hair, anything will suite you so, you can just go to the racks over there. That's where we keep the high-low hemmed dresses." she smiled.
"I actually prefer a knee-length dress with a soft pastel color." Gwen shrugged.
"Alrighty then, Sophia can you please help this beautiful young lady to the fitting room and give her the dress she wants." Cynthia gestured to a bombshell blonde in her 20s.
"Well, what about you two pretty ladies? What kind of dress would you like, sweetheart?" she gave us a motherly smile.
When I looked to Allison, I could see that she was as confused as I am.
"Ahh.. You haven't decided have you? Well for you, I think I have the perfect pastel green dress for you, just hold on while I look for the perfect dress for you lovely friend here." she said referring to me. "Meanwhile you two can go to the big Fitting Room right around the corner and I will personally bring you your dresses."

"Wow, I never thought looking for the perfect dress could be this easy.." I trailed off as I looked around and examined the girls.. I was wearing a high-low hemmed mint green dress that was tight at the bust and was embellished with beautiful jade colored jewels. Allison was wearing an ankle-length midnight blue dress that had a sweetheart neckline, a tight bust with a small silver bow to tighten up her waistline, I knew Matt was going to love her in that. Gwen was happily twirling around in a soft pink short ballerina dress while texting her prom date, Mark. Hazel was busy calling Seth telling him about her purple high-low dress with a black bow underneath the bust. While Lacey was busy searching the perfect shoes for her devil red, ankle length dress, it has a tight bodice that was covered in black gems so she ended up picking a pair of black killer heels to match her dress.
"Cynthia, I'm going to take these black heels, Alli is buying these silver pumps, Gwen will be using this white stilettos, Hazel will be taking this black wedges and for my friend Kyla there, she will be taking the silver heels." Lacey managed to say that in one breath, how she knew what we wanted to choose I'll never know.. She rarely shuts up now ever since that day at the park with Kaden.

I was busy handling my dress and opening my car door when I saw Cameron standing in front of my porch, WAIT! CAMERON?! WHAT'S HE DOING HERE?!
"Hey Kyla.. Let me help you with that." he was going to take my dress bag when I stopped him.
"No. You can't see it. You'll see it tomorrow night." I smirked.
"Fine." he pouted.
"What are you doing here anyways?" I asked him as I opened the front door.
"Kaden invited me to play FIFA."
"Okay then I'll be upstairs while you play whatever you boys play these days.." I trailed as I climbed up the stairs to my room.
"KYLAAAAA!"
"Hey Kasey.."
"What's in that bag?" she gave her toothless grin.
"My prom dress."
"Oh. Okay. Bye." I swear she's becoming more and more like Lacey everyday.
