Cameron POV
"L-I-O-N-S!! WHAT DOES THAT SPELL?! THE MIGHTY MIGHTY LIONS! GO! FIGHT! DEFENSE!" the cheerleaders yelled out loud while lifting their poms-poms everywhere. From the 20 something girls with short skirts jumping everywhere only one caught my eye, their beautiful captain. I smiled just looking at her spirit.
When I met her the day before she was crying at the janitor's closet looking all vulnerable now she looks... Normal.. Which makes me so confused I mean how can a girl be so vulnerable and so carefree at the same time. Damn.. Girls never did made sense to me.. One thing she didn't know was that when she told me to get out of that closet and when I opened the door I actually caught a glimpse of her pretty face and ever since that moment I've been looking around the school for her, I needed to know who she is, I just knew that I had to fix her.
"GO LIONS THE MIGHTY MIGHTY LIONS!" that's when my attention snapped back from Kyla to the game. I was the quarterback at my old school, I was at the top of the food chain until my mother decided that moving away from our father was a good decision. Just thinking of that decision already made me super mad. I mean what makes taking a 16yo teenage boy and his 8yo brother from their father a good thing? Yea sure just because he drinks a lot doesn't mean he couldn't be there for us, right? He was sober sometimes. What makes mom think it's okay to take us away from him?
Flashback~-~-
"YOU WILL NEVER SEE THE BOYS EVER AGAIN VINCENT! MARK MY WORDS! NEVER!" my mom yelled out loud to my drunk dad while me and my brother watched at the foot of the staircase.
End of flashback~-~-
I was starting to feel tears form about to fall from the brim of my eyes that's when I decided that I was not going to cry here in front of everyone in my new school it'll just make me look like a joke to the whole school. No! I wasn't going to let that happen.
Kyla POV
I was looking for Lacey who was looking after my little sister since my parents were busy at work tonight. Yea they were busy even at the very night that their son was in a game and their daughter was cheering for him. Okay-okay I may sound quite stuck-up and annoying but if you live my life and experience all this I bet you will feel the same way. Anyways that was when I saw little Mr.Bulldozer, okay so he wasn't little but oh well, anywho I saw him pushing through the crowds into the door leading into our school building leaving some pretty angry goths on the way. He seemed quite upset and I never knew what it was with me but when I saw anyone frowning I just can't stand it so I almost ran after him but I remembered that I was captain and I couldn't just leave my squad in the middle of a cheer just like that so I decided to stay put and just ask him about it later. If I see him later though... Which I probably will since we go to the same school duhh urgh damn I can be stupid sometimes.
