In front of me, Cameron was holding a bouquet of roses, that God knows how he brought it up here without me knowing, and one of the teddy bears he won, which I thought he was going to give to Danielle.
He smiled and said: " Kyla, I know I tried this before and I know it failed all over my pride, then I made the stupid decision of trying to ignore you, I thought it would help me get over you, but hell it made me fall for you even more. I know all about your past now but I don't care, I was a part of your past, too bad you don't remember but I decided to just fuck it all and love you with everything I have and everthing I can, with and without your memories. The past is in the past, all your scars, I promise you, I will heal them all. All your problems, I promise you, I will solve them all. All your insecurities, I promise you, I will love them all. Basically all I'm saying is Kyla, I love you, all your good and your bad, all your mistakes and your successes, all your perfections and all your imperfections. You have my heart Kyla James and I want to have yours, I promise you I will fix you and I will love you with all I have. Will you be mine?" I was practically sobbing.
"Cameron.." I sobbed.
"Heyy don't cry. Please.. I meant every single word of it. Look, I know you don't trust boys or a lot of people for that matter but I want to be trusted and I'm ready for that. So please Kyles. Please think about it" he whispered as he dropped the flowers and the teddy and embraced my trembling body and kissed my forehead. I didn't know what to do.
Ding..
Saved by the bell, I sobbed: " I'm sorry Cameron." and I ran the hell out of the stopping ferris wheel, earning a very confused look from the attender and some weird looks from passerbys as I ran towards the parking lot looking for Kaden's familiar car. When I spotted it, I ran towards it and pulled myself in quickly.
"Hey what happened?"
"What did he say?"
"Why are you crying?"
"Hey let her breathe." Kaitlyn said stopping Lacey, Allison and Kaden from bombarding me with questions I didn't want to answer at the moment.
"He.. He.. He said that he.. He.. Loved me and he said all those things about what he will do and.. And.. He asked me to be his girlfriend." I cried in between the sentences.
"Okay.. I don't see why you're crying." Kaden being stupid as usual spoke up earning glares from my understanding best friends. "Okay okay geez no need to give me 'the look'"
"Then what happened Kyl?" Lacey patted me on the back as she gestured for Kaden to start the car. That's when I looked back and saw Cameron bringing all the flowers, the prizes, and my purse. WAIT! MY PURSE!
"DRIVE KADEN! I don't want to see him right now." I didn't care about my purse I'll just ask Kaden to get it for me tomorrow, I could live without my phone for a day, I hope.
"Kyla.. What happened?" Lacey repeated.
"I cried and he held me and kissed my forehead the I bolted out of there."
"Wow.." Kaitlyn sighed.
"Just forget about tonight and clear your head first okay." Lacey and Allison offered me a warm smile. I just shrugged.
And the rest of the journey home was silent luckily it wasn't the awkward silent.

"Kyla.. Mom wants to talk to you" Kaden said as he shoved me his phone. "Someones in trouble"
"Hello mommy?" I greeted
"Young lady! Where have you been? Why didn't you answer any of texts nor calls?" I tried not to wince at the volume of her voice.
"I'm sorry mom. I left my phone with a friend and I wasn't able to retrieve it." I explained.
"Oh Thank God.. I thought you were in trouble or something. Next time make sure that your brother tells me if you forgot your phone again okay sweetie?" she calmed down.
"Yes mom I'm sorry." I mumbled.
"Yes anyways, I will be home very late today so can you please prepare some food for your brother and sister. Oh and your dad went to Paris for a meeting so he won't be back for 2 more days okay?" she started telling me what to do. "Okay I have to go now bye sweetheart."
"Bye mommy" we were used to it now, dad away, mom busy. " KADEN! KASEY!"
"WHATTTT" they yelled in unison.
"What do you want for dinner? Pizza or chinese? I'll just order in" I yelled back.
"PIZZAAAA!!!" they yelled back, again.
"KAY!"
I was ordering for a half margherita pizza and a half of meat lovers pizza when the doorbell rang. I quickly switched off the call and opened the door.
"Hey. Umm.. You left your bag." Cameron said.
"Uh. Thanks." I said awkwardly.
"Can I come in? Please Kyla? I need to talk to you." he begged.
"Fine." I gave in.

"I love you. And I'm not taking back what I said Kyla.. Please I'm begging you please give me a chance. Please?" he quickly said the second we sat on my couch.
"Cameron.." I said.
"No, you know what, I don't want to hear it. Please just think about it. You don't need to talk to me I don't care just take all the time you need okay." he shrugged as he stood up and walked towards the door.
"Okay. But hey, do you maybe want to stay for dinner? We're ordering pizza." I tried to offer him some peace offering.
"Nahh I promised my mom I'll be home by dinner."
"Kay. See you tomorrow." I said as I closed the door.
