Nico's eyes opened slowly, then shot open as he noticed the unfamiliar room around him.  There was a knock at the door, then it creaked open. Nico sat up.  A blonde headed boy stuck his head in. "Morning!" Nico paled. No way.  He felt his face heat up, then took another look around.  "I- you- last night..?" He stuttered.
"Yeah. Sorry, you weren't awake, but I recognized you from the club and you said your school was a while away. And since it's pretty dangerous being alone at night there, I took you home. I was gonna drop you off this morning. That okay?" Nicos heart was racing. This wasn't really happening... but it was.  He slowly stood up. "Yeah, that's fine. Thanks."
"Anyway, what's your name?"
"Nico."
"I'm Will. Nice to meet you." He stuck out his hand.  Nico flipped his hood up instinctively, then shook it, more confident with his face half hidden. "Why do you always wear a hood?"
Nico looked at him, unprepared. "Ah- I.. don't know. It's more comfortable for me, I guess?" Will shrugged. "Okay. Come down for breakfast whenever you're ready, my shift starts at 4." I know, Nico wanted to say, but he just nodded, staring at Will.

He thumped down the stairs at 11:09, heart pounding to the beat of his footsteps. "Hello." Will hummed, standing with his back to him at the stove.
"Ah- uh, hi." Nico replied, his stomach fluttering. "Sorry you had to do that last night." He looked down towards the floor. "It was no problem. I just didn't want you to get hurt."
"You barely know me."
"You stood up for me in the bar that time. I know you're a good person." Will pointed out casually, not looking up from what he was doing- ..cooking? Yeah. He picked up a spatula and tilted a pan, then flipped its contents. No less then five minutes later, Nico rubbing his arm awkwardly behind him, he turned around and presented two omelettes on the table. "Breakfast, come on." It had been ages since Nico had eaten breakfast. He sat cautiously next to Will, stealing nervous and admiring glances of him. Will chuckled. "What?" He asked. "Nothing, just," Nico responded, a faint blush dusting his cheeks. He managed a small laugh himself, then turned back to his plate. "Thank you, Will." He tilted his head, his hair flopping over to one side in a messy way.

Will glanced over at the boy and his eyes widened. Woah. In this light, with a faint smile on his face and messy hair, Will could've kept staring at him forever. He had a pale but smooth face, laughing, chocolate eyes, soft, light pink lips that were pursed together, and adorably messy black hair that was desperately in need of a cut but Will wouldn't have it any other way. "Will..?" Nico prodded him. "Ah. Sorry. And like I said, it's no problem, I just wanted you to stay safe. So you're in college?"
"Yeah," Nico said. "You're not?"
"No. I can't afford it- living alone has its ups and downs." Will shrugged, picking up their plates and taking them to the sink. He rinsed them and set them down, then sat back with Nico.  Wills eyes stumbled over Nico's face again, drawing in the shadows and details. "You're so different than what I thought." He blurted accidentally, not having meant to say that.  Nico huffed and pulled his familiar hood over his face. "No! Wait, that's- not what I meant. I just meant, I thought you were this bad boy college kid who drank a lot and had zero cares and no manners."  A small smile formed on Nico's face, but he hid it with his hood.  "Yeah? What gave you that impression?" He chuckled lightly.
"Well I don't know. You never wear color, you never showed your face, you always ordered drinks and barely talked. What was I supposed to think?"
"Well.." Nico thought about if for a moment longer. "Well, I suppose you're right. I do seem like that. But I'm not. Don't get me wrong- I could totally beat up a guy, but I wouldn't. Ah- probably. And drink?"
"You can't deny that. You drink so much it's unhealthy."  Will pointed out.

Nico thought back every night he had poured the drink out when will wasn't looking, and those times he had tentatively taken a sip to be convincing and immediately spat it back out.  "Yeah." He agreed slowly. "Yeah, I do drink a lot."
