The walk to the office is slow and steady. No one likes being called down to the office. It sucks. It usually means that they get in trouble or did something that our amazing school didn't like. I think back to all of the things I did wrong.

None of them match up. Once I arrive I walk in and sit in one of the chairs while I wait. "(Y/n) (L/n)." I hear the receptionist call out. I nod my head and head into the room that she points to. In there, my dad and sister are waiting, along with the principle.

I decide to sit down next to my sister. She looks at me tears eyed. I start worrying. She never cries, she's the happiest girl alive. That's surprising since she's only nine. I look over to my dad. He has his stern 'dad' face on.

There's something off about it though... his glossy eyes. He's in his late forties, my mom is two years younger than him. Speaking of my mom, where is she? The principal clears his throat. We all turn our heads towards him. "(Y/n), I'm sorry to tell you this but... your mother has passed. She was hit and her seat belt cut into her neck, splitting it open." He says, calmly.

        But this situation isn't calm.
