Chapter 9

*Kasen's POV*

I could tell Nate was still on Dezmond's mind. I hate when I let her go somewhere by herself. I was worried sick in jail. I couldnt do anything to protect her.

But now that im out, these niggas got another thing coming. Dezmond aint no scary woman but as her husband I refuse to let anybody play her like a fool. She dont have my last name for nothing.

*Dezmond's POV*

"Jasmine its crooked" I say.

"Girl shut that shit up its perfect." she says.

I sigh and decide to leave it alone.This party had to be perfect for David,Paris and Mariah. I already called up the parents from daycare and told them to bring the lil ones. I didnt buy these cup cakes for nothing.

"Lets go check on Quad and Kasen....I hope they dont burn yo house down" Jasmine says.

I start laughing. We put Quad and Kasen on grill duty. They cooking up some of everything.

We made our way outside to my backyard. Kasen and Quad sitting back here watching the grill and the basketball game at the same time.

Jasmine and I start chuckling at these niggas they hell.

"Lets Go Lebron!!" Kasen screams.

"Man fuck Lebron" Quad says.

"Lets go Kobe" Quad adds on.

"Nigga I keep telling you....you gay...you go for gay teams and you wear make-up" Kasen says.

Quad scowls at Kasen.

"Thats why ya kids love they God father.....I rocks my make up boo boo" Quad says in a gay voice.

I look at Jasmine and we cant hold it in anymore. We let out rounds of booming laughter and the boys finally notice us.

"Nosey females" Quad throws in.

"You got that right"Kasen says.

I stop my laughter and pull Kasen by his dreads. "What was that?" I say pretending like I didnt hear him.

"Uhh nothing bae" Kasen says.

"Thats what I thought" I say back.

"Anyways... where the kids?" Kasen ask.

I pull out the tablet and search the screens for them. I see them inside the playroom.

"Right there" I say pointing at the playroom.

Kasen nods then grabs his walkie talkie.

"M.K....pick up M.K" he says referring to Mariah.

Theres a long pause and then Mariah picks up.

"Yes Daddy?" she says.

"Bring your brother and sister down here" he says.

I look at the monitor and she grabs Paris and David and exit the Playroom.

"She is coming" I say.

Kasen nods and puts the walkie talkie back on the table.

"Yall got good parenting skills" Jasmine says.

I smile. "This was all Kasen's Idea." I say.

"Pretty good Idea...I remember when Jared was a baby, that lil nigga couldnt stay still for 1 second." Quad says.

I chuckle...that was true. Jared was a active baby. Use to beat Hazel's ass trying to keep up with him.

Speaking of Hazel I miss that girl. She hasnt seen the babies since she left. She is a face they would have to get use to. Her and Justin.
