"Today is Baby's bday so yall know we have to get her something special." my lil cousin' on my dad side of the family reminded as we sat around on the patio'.
Chyna was more like a sister to us—she's been living with us since she was 15 and her moms kicked her out over a nigga.
"What do we get the girl that has everything?" Lauren replied and it was true though our baby sister Dream aka Baby was spoiled as ever. Ever since she was born she got her way, we all did but her especially.
See we didn't live bummy like the rest of the people in our hood.' We lived good, never had to struggle, always rocked the newest name-brand clothes and shoes, hair stayed done, house stayed clean'. We had it all.
We could actually be living in the suburbs right now but dad being the pro-black type didn't want to leave the neighborhood he wanted to fix this neighborhood instead but let's be real there was no such thing as fixing this mess and shit it was only a matter of time before we got robbed living amongst the poor and needy.
"A new car!" I suggested, scrolling down my social media page which I just hit 3 million followers' on.
"Don't she already got like two of them?"
"Nic, I don't know why you out here you better go watch them, people, if something comes up broke or missing its yo fault you know that right?" Lauren said since our parents were away and strictly warned us not to throw a house party but Dream was begging so I finally gave in and let her throw one.
"But you're the oldest." I scoffed, referring to Lauren.
"I'm leaving you on read." she chuckled as I rolled my eyes then walked inside whoever playing this music needs to stop cuz ain't nobody vibing to this—the first thing I saw when I was in the kitchen looking out into the living room was Cyclone big dusty ass spilling beer on mommy's new carpet she just had installed.
"Uh-Uh, Cyc yo ass gon' have to clean that up." I angered, making my way over to where he stood as he stopped laughing and just eyed me like I had no business confronting him for ruining my house "if my moms see this she gon' have our necks so clean that up."
"Ion see nothing in yo hands," he replied making me roll my eyes again. This nigga was definitely trying it; ion know who he showing out for but whoever it is gon see him get hurt.
"Don't play with me nigga now clean it up before I-"
"Before what?" He cut me off then walked up on me as if that was supposed to scare me.
"Bruh just clean it up!"
I finally notice the guy standing next to him as Cyc walked off mumbling something like the lil bitch nigga he was.
I was about to walk off but I didn't want to be a rude ass for once in my life "thank you, I'm Nicki." I introduced instead staring up at the kinda tall nappy-head guy before me—poor ting needed a trim.
"No problem." he replied' as I stared him up and down stopping a little bit on the center of his gray sweatpants then back up to his face.
"Well, aren't you going to tell me your name?" I asked him—niggas these days are rude as fuck like how dare you to have a bad bitch in your presence and treat her like she's not even standing here.
"Nas." he pronounced.
"Oh! That's something new." I said as he did a little fake smile as if I was annoying him, Boy Bye!
