"Max, wake up! It's parent's day!" Nikki said, smiling like a goof as usual.

Max glared at his minty haired friend, pushing her off before she tried to lick him again.

"What the hell are you talking about?" Max groaned, "I thought we weren't having anymore 'Parent's Day' because of the first trainwreck."

"I know, right?!" Nikki smiled, "But I just saw Gwen putting up flyers on the mess hall."

"Oh great, another reminder of my sad life." Max thought to himself.

When all the campers gathered for roll call, David was standing before them with a huge grin on his face, as usual. Gwen, on the other hand, was looking surprisingly cheerful for once.

"Good morning, campers! As many of you may know . . . we're having a do-over on Parent's Day at Camp Campbell!" David smiled.

"But why? In case you forgot, last time our camp founder was arrested and vowed revenge against you." Max reminded.

"Yeah, and My dad was caught doing Nikki's mom's during Preston's play." Neil added.

"Don't you mean wrestling?" Nikki asked.

Max snickered at Nikki's innocence, but before he could correct her David intervened.

"Well, yes." David said, "Both those things are true, but this time is better."

"Yeah, thanks to all the government support after Cameron's arrest . . . things are actually a lot less shitty than before." Gwen added, "Not to mention the new RSVP protocol we added to avoid anymore incidents."

"That's right, now we know exactly who's coming and how to accomodate them to all of your talents." David added.

"Well, once again you guys get to have fun." Max said with a yawn, "I'm gonna get some sleep."

Gwen and David looked at each other expectingly, then David quickly grabbed Max.

"Actually Max, you got a RSVP." David replied.

"What?" Max gasped.

"That's right, you little shit." Gwen said, "From someone named . . . Marina."

Max's eye twitched at the idea of whoever "Marina" was coming to Camp Campbell. As Max remained frozen in place, while the Quartmaster drove up with the camp bus. As the parents filed off the bus, similar to the first time, a young woman walked down with a smile on her face.

"Who's that?" Nikki asked.

The girl had long black hair and fair skin, her chocolate overlooked the campers as her pink tinted lips greeted them with a smile. As she removed her hoodie, the girl surprised the campers with her beauty. Erid literally lite up with excitement.

"Omg! It's singing sensation/actress Marina Sanchez!" Erid screamed.

"Ack! She iz zo beautiful!" Dolph gasped.

"Marina!? In the flesh?!" Preston gasped, then screaming like a girl.

As the kids huddled around Marina, Max began rubbing his temples. This was the reason he didn't want her to come, it was a good effort trying to disguise her name . . . but as for her actual appearance, not so good.

"Hey! Quiet, you little shits!" Marianna snapped, "And my name's Marianna, not Marina."

The campers got quiet, still starstruck with the edgy woman. As she walked past them, she looked at Max and her smile returned. Taking a knee, Marianna opened her arms and waited for a hug for the small boy.

"Ain't you gonna come give your Big Sis a hug, Max?" Marianna asked.

Max blushed as he slowly walked up to his big sister. Once in her grasp, Max was nearly suffocated wit the love of his sister. Marianna hugged the boy tightly.

"I missed you so much, Max." Marianna smiled.

"Yeah, yeah . . . I miss you too." Max sighed, wearing a weak smile.

David and Gwen both stared, shocked to see such emotion from Max. This woman seemed to be the one thing that could make Max happy, but why? What was she like? Who was she? What effect did she have on his life? David cleared his throat as the two separated and joined the rest of the campers and parents.

"Well, now that everyone's here . . . let's start Parent's Day right." David smiled.
