What are you suppose to do when you're brought face to face with someone who's hurt you? What are you suppose to do when that someone is one of your boyfriend's teammates?

I froze when my eyes caught his ice blue ones. The Silver Fox as I had heard his teammates call him. Flashbacks of meeting him and taking him back to my place formed. The memories of him and his friends raping me and leaving me tied up and alone struck me hard and I was left standing there, not knowing how I was suppose to react.

I knew he recognized me by the way his face changed when Cody introduced me. "It's nice to meet you, I'm Chase." I wanted to cry when his hand touched mine but instead I just let go of our handshake and grabbed Cody's hand to pull him away.

Was I suppose to tell him? If I was, how the hell do I tell him that the guy who hurt me was one of his friends?

"Emberly, you know you can't be holding my hand right now babe." He whispers in my ear and laughs.

"I wasn't holding your hand, I was pulling you this way."

             "Why? What's wrong?"

I make up my mind right then. "Nothing's wrong, I'm going to go find Victoria now and I wanted to give you a goodbye kiss before I left. So I'm pulling you away." I say in a low voice. What I said convinced Cody and before I knew it, I was being pulled down the hall where no one was.

He lightly shoves me against the wall before catching his lips in mine. "Cody, I meant a peck," I say, smiling into the kiss. "We're gonna get caught."

He smiles back and pulls away, his cheeks revealing a crimson blush. "Good luck stud." I give him one more peck and walk away to find Victoria.

Having Chase around would be a problem for me, but I knew I had to keep it to myself. It would bring up too much shit if I were to say something about it.

I find Victoria standing by herself outside of the team room. "Hey girl." She smiles and waves when she looks up from her phone and sees me.

"Hey, I was hoping I could talk to you real quick. It's important." She nods and we walk to the end of the hallway.

"Is this about what happened to you while we were all on the road trip? I'm so sorry about that Emberly, we'll find him though love, I promise."

'That won't be too hard.' I thought to myself, knowing I couldn't say it out loud.

I give her a small smile. I knew Cody had told Chris but I didn't think Chris would go tell Victoria. "It's actually not about that at all. I need to ask a favor of you."

         "Of course; anything."

I play with my fingers and take a breath. "So you know how whenever you come over, me and Cody act like a couple?"

"Haha yeah, I just kind of assumed you guys were... are you two not?" Her face read off as confused; I would be too if I were in her shoes.

I shook my head. "I mean we are... but we shouldn't be."

"I don't get it. What do you mean by 'we shouldn't be'?"

          Here it goes.

          Shit.

"I'm 17. And Cody and I shouldn't be a couple because it could get both of us in a lot of trouble."

Her mouth dropped open and her eyebrows furrowed in confusion. "What do you mean? You can't be 17." She smiles and lets out a fake laugh, obviously waiting for me to tell her that it was all some kind of joke or something.

I give a small smile. "I am though." My voice was barley audible; hardly a whisper. "I just wanted to let you know because this needs to stay a secret. Right now, everyone here just thinks that I'm a family friend from back home and I really need it to stay that way. At least until I turn 18."

"Emberly, this is risky. This is your life and Cody's career at stake, love."

"I know it's risky, but Cody and I have had this discussion before, and it's worth it to us."

She looked down at me and sighed. "Fine, I will keep this secret for you two. But please promise me that you guys will be careful."

I give her a huge, grateful smile and wrap her in a hug. "Thank you so much, Victoria! You don't know how grateful I am for you right now."

Sh hugged me back before pulling away and holding onto my shoulders. "Now c'mon, I'll go introduce you to the other girls. You'll love them, they're all so sweet."

I followed her down to seats that were above the third base dugout. I was introduced to almost every WAG that was present and I was shocked by how genuinely kind they all were. It was nothing like the TV shows and magazines portrayed WAGs to be.

Even though the game was a good one, I was struggling to enjoy myself while watching it. I was juggling the possibilities of outcomes that could occur if I told Cody about Chase. Just thinking about that night and what he did to me was enough to make me want to curl up in a ball a ball and shut everyone else out.

Cody and I had decided to just meet each other in the players' garage at his car so I was making my way there through the clubhouse. I was staring at my phone, saving the girls contacts because they said that they were going to text me whenever they went out. I haven't told them that I'm only 17, but then again, it's not like they asked.

I put my phone in my back pocket and grabbed Cody's keys out of my bag when suddenly, a hand reached for my arm and pulled me back.

"What the fu..." I cut myself off when I realized who it was. No one but the blue eyed devil himself.
