Rowan's POV:

lt didn't take me long to reach the wearhouse,  the same wearhouse where Calan and l saw Scorpion and Yuki together.

Relying on stealth,  l hid my bike on the side of the road,  where it would be out of sight and no one will know that l was here.

l hurried over the road toward the warehouse,  making sure l was as silent as a mouse.  With my bow in my hand l came to the door,  it was unlocked and open just a crack.  l peeked inside,  but the place looked deserted.  Strange,  l tought Tanya would be here by now.

l gave the door a slight push and it opened with a sickening creak.  l held my ground,  but nothing happened.  l stepped inside the wearhouse,  where there was an extremely fowl smell.

My eyes had to adjust to the low light,  but once they did l noticed something on the groung,  or more like someone it was a body,  with blood pooling around it.

l quickly hurried over to it,  l dropped my bow and arrow next to it and knelt down beside it,  it was Tanya.   She lay there gasping for air.

"No no no no no,  Tanya,  l'm here just stay calm we should get you to a hospital. "l said hastily trying to move her,  but she let out a pained groan and grabbed one of my hands.

"No... Row... its too late. .. l've already. .. lost. .. too much blood. " she said in between heavy gasps.

"No please Tanya,  you can't leave me l can not do this on my own,  l need you. " l said tears reaching the brims of my eyes as they treatened to fall.

With a sad smile she said " You are so strong Row,  you are so very strong,  and l am so proud of you....And just promise me. ... that you will never give up. .. you shoud break free.... ".

Tears were streaming down my face,  as reality drawed to me,  l was losing her, l was loosing my best friend,  the person who helped me through everything,  the one who stuck by me when no one else did.  l was losing. ... my sister!

l nodded at her,  her eyes now looking pale the light that was always there is now gone,  "l promise " l said to her.

Her eyes started to droop,  "No, no, no Tan,  stay with me we can call for help, we can still save you! " l pleaded.

" You have to... let me go. " she said barely a wisper.

"No. .. I can't. .. l can not do this without you... l can't do this alone,  l love you. " l wispered holding her body closer to me.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk.  Well isn't this precious.  The tough spy is crying.  lf only she had listened when she was warned,  she could have stopped all of this,  she could have saved her friend. " A deep Russian accent said from the shadows,  ln the dim light l could make out the definite silouette of the devil,  Scorpion.

My blood boiled.  ln a split second l held a bow and arrow aming,  and fired into the darkness,  but the arrow went right through its mark,  but not with success,  because the Scorpion had vanished,  The arrow only hitting the space where he stood, now lodged within the wall.  But l could have sworn that l saw something white as he disappeared,  almost like white material.

My attention was back to Tanya,  her eyes were closed,  she wasn't breathing,  her body limp and pale.  A sob escaped my mouth as l cluthched on to her. l started letting my healing powers flow out of me into her,  hoping,  praying that it will work.

Her body stayed limp,  as exhaustion was catching up on me,  but l was not going to give up.

"Rowan!" l heard a familiar voice gasp behind me.  lt was Calan,  l could hear his footsteps running toward me. But l paid him no attention,  l was going to save her,  even if it killed me.
