Lucas departure

"I bailed you at that night, with the agreement that it would stay between us" he hissed glaring at Lucas

"You decided that and I so stupidly believe it was the right things" lucas says looking down shaking he's head

"You Mister Friar, are your own worst enemy. You created this whole mess" Cory says glaring

"And your continued it!" Lucas yells raising from he's seat

"The security of my daughter and granddaughter were at stake because of you!"

"I could have protected them!" Lucas shouted

"Oh how you protected Brandon that night!?" Cory says getting out of he's desk to move in from of Lucas

Lucas suddenly felt he's body shake and he slowly sat back in he's seat

"That night you created a target. Not only on yourself but on everyone around you" he hissed

"It wasn't me I-"

"You surrounded yourself with those people. You knew the outcome. I bailed you out. I kept you safe and my daughter " he says looking down at Lucas

"She hates me"Lucas says with tears in here's eyes looking up at Cory

"The hate she has for you has saved her. Don't Ruin it now" he says turning away as he goes to fox he's thing from he's desk

"This isn't fair" Lucas whispers

"And you  coming back isn't fair. This is ruining slot of things" Cory says

"You told me this was right thing to do. That Riley would would know I didn't just leave!"Lucas says standing up from he's chair going up to Cory

"They couldn't know for safety. Or you really wanted to see Rolling head like they did to Brandon's girlfriend" Cory shouts as he passes by Lucas

"Riley need to know it's been years. I want them back I never should have left"

"That night was the reason you left. The night was the reason this is happening . You decided to beginning a friendship with Brandon knowing the people he mingled with. You endrangered yourself and my daughter. I am her father, I helped bring her into the world and so help me I will do whatever to protect her. That includes separating her from you." He says as he stares angrily as him

"Mister Matthews I-"

"No Lucas! The past can not be minded. I don't trust you around my family" Cory says has he turns he's back going to the door

"I'm Hope's father, she has my blood like you said you created Riley. I created Hope I want to be part of her life now that I still have a chance. It's been years all that stuff with Brandon is over. No one remembers me or cares if I'm back in-town. I'm not going to make the same mistake Mr Mathers. I can keep them safe" Lucas says

"I don't believe you at all Lucas" Cory says ha she take one last look at Lucas and walks away

Lucas looks back at he's seat and the seat Riley used to occupy. "I promise I'll make it my mission to protect you and hope. Your going to know the reason I left, even if it means going shiny your father"

The blacked out windows of the suv roll down as the person watches Lucas leave the school

"No let him keep roaming around. Have we located the girls"

"No sir not yet, we are still looking"

They smile "when you least expect it Lucas friar, your sunshine can't hide for long.
