Sarah's POV
I pulled out my phone and called Dr. Wily's office. His scheduling agent, Karen picked up.
"Hey, Karen, it's me, Sarah,"
"Hey, Sarah! How's it going? Did your appointment get messed up?"
"No, no, I was wondering if you could set up an extra appointment, the soonest opening you have, please?"
"May I ask, is everything alright?"
"Well, things aren't exactly peachy, that's for sure."
"Oh, Sarah, that's not good, I'm sorry."
"I thought I could power through all of it, that it would all blow over, but I definitely think I need to talk to Wily."
"I'm proud that your willing to come this time, Sarah. I'm glad that you handled it before it got way out of hand. And there's an opening today, actually, for four-thirty, if you want it."
"Oh, yes please, and thank you, Karen. I'll see you later?"
"No problem, darling, I'll see you later. B-bye."
"Bye."
???'s POV
"Okay, so the headline is going to read, "Scandalous Behaviors Happening in the Williams Family." Yes, I know my bother's going to hate me for this, that's why you're writing it, Rodge. You are in charge of the gossip column, aren't you? I'm just a co-editor. Thank you. B-bye!" Ugh. I swear one of these days, Rodger's going to melt from his own fear. I almost feel bad for the guy, he's going to have to take the wrath from everyone who like's Toby, Sam, Sarah and Principal David. I've been working on this piece ever since I found out Sam was pregnant. Somebody has to fill in everyone on how close the relationships are in this school.
Toby's POV a few hours later:
I stopped at my locker on my way to lunch, when a very anxious Josh came running over.
"Toby! Have you read today's paper yet?"
"Nnnnooo, we're not on it today."
"Well, look at it!!!" He handed me his copy of the paper, it looked crinkled on the edges, from where Josh had been freaking out. My face went even more pale than it usually is just from the title.
"Scandalous Behaviors in the Williams Family."
"Rumor has it that two best friends have grown a lot closer lately-- maybe too close. Samantha Timothy has been going around in baggier clothes to hide the fact that she is carrying the child of Toby Williams. That's right, we got a "Sixteen and Pregnant" right here in our little 'not so perfect' school of ours. But that's not the only thing that might raise your eyebrows. Assistant Librarian Sarah Williams seems to have a better relationship with our new Principal than the rest of us. The two of them are seen together quite frequently. Some would just assume that they are just friends. But that wouldn't explain why Toby's living with him, now does it? And with that, I'm leaving you with some food for thought, that's all for today, see you next time!"
I looked up to my best friend, anger surging through me. I punched a dent into my locker, and kicked it shut. In the process, it caused me to remember my shoulder, and I rubbed it. It's still sore from the accident.
"Only one person could've done it, Josh. And it sure as hell wasn't poor Rodger."
"Well,"
"Look, I know she's your sister, and I know you don't like to make assumptions. But, Brittany did this. C'mon, Josh. Who else would it be?"
