Chapter 4: Texting back

The Dr. J was walking towards Zander's room when Zander's phone beeped. "Looks like one of his friends is trying to contact him. Let's see what it says..." He said opening the text.

Zander.. Listen to me. Please stay strong. Please Zay. I can't explain what life will be like without you. Get the address. I'm getting Hazel.. And were getting you. I haven't told her anything. But I'm ready to. Love ya! Xx

Dr. J smiled. "So I know he hasn't met her.... Let's see what I can do.

I'll live. I'm surely strong enough to get out of this. And DONT TELL HAZEL! You don't know me so you don't know that life will be any different anyway... And I don't need anyone to risk coming and saving me. If I die then I die... No harm to anyone else... I gtg. Didn't sleep last night.. Gonna sleep now. Bye.

He sent it with a smile. Now it's Zander's turn. He walked into Zander's room with a sedating needle. Without waking Zander, he stuck it in him. Then he got out his stitches. "You shouldn't have contacted your friends. It was a big mistake.... Now you won't be able to call them anymore." The doctor said starting to stitch Zander's mouth closed. When it was fully done it looked like a murder scene. Zander was bloody, not like he wasn't before. And there was his mouth stitched together.

When Zander woke up he tried to yawn. But nothing. He was confused. He put his hand to his mouth and found the stitches. He growled with anger.

He grabbed one of the stitches and tried to pull. He cried with pain. He couldn't pull them off.... They were strong and painful... There was no use. And he doesn't know what Tiffany said back. He was doomed.

When Hazel got a text from Tiffany she smiled. But Piper called for her. She needed help with her bathing suit strap. It was stuck.

Nate walked by her phone and saw she got a text. He being nosy, wanted to peek. So he opened the text.

We need to talk majorly.. About Zander... He asked me not to tell you... But you deserve to know.

Nate shook his head. If Zander didn't want her to know, he must have a good reason. So Hazel shouldn't know.

If Zander doesn't want me to know, I don't want to know.... Sorry girlie... I just don't think I should know it if he doesn't want me too. He has his reasons for everything! Byeeeeeee!

Then he deleted the texts. Good thing too because, when she came out she went right onto her phone. That was a close one.

Piper cooked today. It was dinner time so she cooked, a salad and fried fish. It was easy and they all liked it so whatever.

After dinner Connor and Piper went for a swim. Nate and Hazel were playing video games. "So Nate, what kinda music do you listen to?" Hazel asked and Nate let out a little chuckle.

"I listen to what Zander listens too. We only had money to buy the same music so I had to listen to rock and metal... And then I started liking it... I mean it usually is really catchy and is better than rap." Nate said and Hazel plugged her phone into the speaker. And hit coffin by Black Veil Brides. Nate smiled.

"This is Zander's favorite by them..." Nate said and Hazel nodded.

"And mine... It's a really good song!" Hazel said but then quieted down for her favorite part of the song. The chorus.

'I don't owe you anything! You'll only die a dream forgotten. I've got me pride so hear me sing. I'll never let you steal my coffin!' It was a catchy song. But Zander's favorite part was the screamo, because he could do the screamo part....

When the song ended Nate sighed. "Play it again!" So she walked over and played the song again. She sat on the couch and then slowly drifted off into sleep.
