Chapter 3: Bye Bye phone..

Zander woke up when he heard Dr. J talk. "Zander... I am afraid that I can't let you keep your phone anymore... So I will keep it..." Dr. J said putting Zander's phone in his pocket.

"But wait! Please! Just let me talk to my friends! I need them!" Zander yelled when the doctor walked out of his room. It was 7:00 am.

"Zander I also wanted to tell you about the new experiment I am testing on you in a couple minutes. Okay! So I am gonna inject you with something that it is supposed to make someone sick... But I don't know specifically what it does so let's try it out!" Dr. J said pulling out a vile and injecting it in Zander's neck. Zander felt a cold rush through his body. Ice cold. Then the doctor left.

1 hour later Zander started to feel sick. He walked out of his room and to were he remembered Dr. J's cell phone is. He typed in Tiffany's number and called. She didn't answer so he was gonna leave a voice mail.

"Hey tiff----" Zander was cut off when he coughed. And kept coughing until he coughed up blood. "Sorry you had---" he puked up blood. "----to hear that..." Zander finished. "I just wanted to say---" he puked blood again. And his eyes were watering. "---that I don't know if I will make it-----" he couldn't stop coughing and spitting up blood. He was getting light headed. "Gotta go bye." Zander said as he hung up. He was super sick and placed the phone back where it goes and then walked to his room, holding the walls.

The med was making him crazy sick! He laid down thinking he will feel better after sleep.

An hour he woke up and Dr. J was holding out a cup of water. "Here! Wouldn't want my testing buddy, to get dehydrated from coughing up all that blood! But I can't do anything about the bloody clothes! I'm glad you feel better! Get some sleep!" Dr. J said walkin out of Zander's room with a big smile. Zander gulped the water. He had blood stained on his clothes and his neck and face. He just wanted to see Hazel's beautiful face again! Hold her, and tell her he loves her.... But as he was thinking of this he fell asleep again...

Connor came back from outside with a stick of butter. "I got some butter from the neighbor! Now I can make my famous breakfast!" Connor said smiling. Again blinding Hazel, Piper, and Nate.

"God! Please! It burns!" Nate yelled joking about how the sun reflects off his braces. And to find out Connor does make good breakfast! He made omelets, home fries, and toast. They all loved it...

"I have never had something like this..." Nate said. He hadn't had anything besides food from the before and basically baby food when he was little.

"I've never seen a boy cook like you! You are so awesome! Or as you say ace.." Piper said and Connor and her both giggled.

"Just kiss already..." Nate grunted under his breathe. Only Hazel heard him.

"It's alright dude... She likes you too..." Hazel said and Nate rolled his eyes...

Hazel and Nate surfed and Piper and Connor made sand castles and buried each other in sand. "Why can't I really bury him..." Nate said looking towards them and Hazel giggled.

"Wow! Nate! I didn't know you thought this violent!" Hazel said and he stuck out his tongue. He had a tongue ring. That was his only piercing.

"Well I do sometimes... But usually Zander calms me down by saying something sarcastic and then makes me laugh... Do you think he will come back? I mean if I didn't tell him to leave without me then I would have gone with you. Then he wouldn't be in this situation!" Nate said and Hazel and him surfed a wave.

"Nate I am not gonna lie... I don't know if he will come back... But let's hope for the best... And remember! You have me and Piper and Connor. We'll not as much Connor... You don't like him... And ITS NOT YOUR FAULT!" Hazel said looking at him. He smiled but you could tell it was so he wouldn't cry.

"I just... He's the only one I have always known... The one who has always been there. And if he dies I will be lost and have nothing... I might as well die myself if Zander dies......" Nate said walking up the beach towards the house.

"Nate! It's okay now I know... We will find him if he doesn't come home and he won't die.. I promise!" Hazel said hugging Nate. They both had tears filling there eyes.
