Stolen Heart

Chapter 25

Sarah POV-
"Where to first?" Ross asked as he backed out of the driveway. "Airport. She couldn't have gone far since she left about 10 minutes ago." I said. He nodded as we got onto the road. I slipped on my sunglasses and blasted the radio.

"Your over my head, outta my mind!" I sang as I heard MKTO's classic come on. I saw Ross chuckle. "What you think I'm bad?" I asked in sad tone. "Of course not." He said with a shake of his head. "That's what I thought." I said with a laugh.

We finally arrived at the airport. "Let's spread out. You go that way and I'll go this way." I said, pointing to different directions. I saw him nod, then he quickly kissed my cheek and ran off. "Ashley!" I yelled. "Ashley!"

I went through each gate. Maybe she did leave...

I searched until I came across Ross. He was talking to, a girl.

I marched up to him, but I quickly recognized the girl. It was Ashley, but there was a girl sitting next to her too. "Ashley!" I said, "Why would you leave?"

"I'm sorry, who's this?" The girl next to her said. "Oh, I'm Sarah. Ashley's sister." I said. "Oh nice to meet you! I'm Chelsea!" She said sticking out her hand. I gladly shook it.

"I'm sorry Sarah... But I just felt useless.." Ashley explained. "Listen, I'm sorry riker did this to you, but you have to come back. I don't know what I'd do without you." I said. She nodded. "I will, but can Chelsea come too?" She asked. I looked at her, she was chatting with Ross. "Sure, but where did she come from?" I asked. "She moved from Florida to California. She's looking for a better job and life than what she had before." Ashley explained. I nodded my head. "Good enough." I said.

"Chelsea, do you have a place to stay?" I asked her. She shook her head. "No, I was going to look for one today, but it's getting late." She said. "You can stay over our house for the night!" I offered. She nodded her head. "Thank you so much!"

We all walked out of the airport and piled into the car, packing the luggage into the back seat.

We finally arrived at my house, then Ashley put her stuff away. "You can stay in my room for the night. I'll stay over Ross's house tonight." I suggested. "Alright. Thanks for everything." She said as she lifted her bag. "No problem. Have a good night!" I said as I walked out with Ross. "You too!" She said, then I shut the door behind me.

"She seems really nice." I said to Ross as we walked side by side on the sidewalk. "Ya, she does." He said. "What should we do while I'm at your house?" I asked. Ross started to say something but someone interrupted him. "Wait!" Someone yelled. I turned to find Ashley running towards us. "I want to resolve things with Rik." She said.

"Ash what about-"

"Oh don't worry, she's coming too!"

I heard our door close, then Chelsea came running after us. "I'm here. Let's go." She said, then they both ran to the Lynch's house.

I looked at Ross, and he just shrugged. We followed the two friends to the door, and Ross unlocked it for them. "Riker!" Ross yelled. "There's someone who wants to talk to you!"

"Wish me luck." Ashley mumbled, then walked up the stairs.

Ross leaned into my ear. "Hopefully he isn't drunk anymore." He mumbled. "Tell me about it."
