Ashley POV-
"Well that's what Rik said.." My sister said awkwardly.
I stood there, thinking of what to do.
"Talk to him." Sarah said with a smile. I nodded my head, "Where is he?"
"He's inside, talking to Ross." She replied. "How is he by the way?" I asked her. "He's fine.. I'm just worried about Chris and what he'll do to me after what Ross has done to him." She explained.
"I'm sure everything will be fine. Now if you'll excuse me, I've got someone to talk to." I said as I walked by her and back towards the house.
I looked back to see if she was following me, but she was just sitting on the front steps. I smiled, then completely walked into the house.
"Riker?" I yelled. "Yeah?" I heard him say as he walked down the staircase.
I frowned as he walked toward me. "Why would you tell Sarah that?" I asked. "Tell Sarah what?" He acted oblivious. I rolled my eyes, "That we were back together."
"Because I..." He started, but said nothing after that. "There has to be a reason Riker."
He didn't say anything.
"I can't believe I even considered getting back together with you." I spat, then walked out of the room.
I felt something bump against my body, then I looked up to find Riker's brother.
"Hey Ross." I said sadly, walked down the stairs. "Ash wait!" He said, following me.
"Talk to me." He said, holding my wrist. I dragged him to the couch, then we sat together and I told him my problem with Riker, which ended with me in tears.
"Hey," he said softly, "Riker is being a jerk right now. I think he has a lot on his mind right now and so do you. That's why things are really tense."
I smiled, "Thanks."
"Anytime." He said happily, then kissed me quickly. Before we could pull away, I heard the door open.
"Ross it's-" I heard someone say. We pulled away, then I realized who it was.
Sarah.
"What are you doing?!" She shrieked. "Uh.." I started, but she cut me off. "Ross?"
"I'm sorry, Sarah." He said. "That's it? All you have to say is 'sorry'?!" She yelled.
"Well since you like Ashley enough to kiss her, who's it gonna be?" She crossed her arms.
"You're not seriously making me choose are you?" Ross asked, standing up from the couch.
Sarah just nodded, and I saw tears form in her eyes.
Ross walked towards her, and gave her a long lasting, passionate kiss.
"Does that explain how I feel about you?" He pulled away. "That was just a friendly kiss because she is going through a tough time right now. I promise."
She nodded as he kissed her head.
"Now let's go to the venue."
