Raven pulled her sweatshirt sleeve over her bloody, but dry, arm. She turned around to notice Damian coming into her room. "Hey- have you been crying?" Ravens eyes went unnoticeably wide as she quickly responded, "Oh no, I wasn't. An eyelash got in my eye." Damian nodded but his face told a different story. He threw his notepad onto her bed; he walked over to her and wrapped his arms around her, his head resting on her shoulder. The two of them staring at their reflections in the mirror.

"Why're you wearing a sweatshirt? You never where them to bed." Damian wondered. Raven says that sweatshirts ruin the way she's sleeps and that it makes her too hot. "Just..cold.." She answered wearily. Yawning afterwards to prove her statement. "Okay then." Her boyfriend sighed, letting go of her body and dragging his own to her bed. Plopping down on the bed, he reached for his notepad and snatched it up from its resting place. Damian watched his girlfriend slowly walk to the window and stare out at the city. He noticed her eyes lose a small amount of life; and that made him worry. "Beloved." He said quietly, getting attention. "You didn't eat dinner." He stated. Obviously trying to get a point across. "I was meditating. He's been annoying lately." She implied that her father was the cause of her missing out on supper. Tiredly she closed her blinds and turned the lights out.

The daughter of Satan climbed into bed next to Damian. Damian turned over to spoon her once he finished putting his notepad on the side table. The bodily contact made Raven flinch and scoot away from him. "Not tonight." Raven felt him turn away from her. The rest of the night was spent in silence.

Mornings for the two were usually easy. As always, Damian rose when the sun did, Raven did too. At least she usually did..

Damian woke up to Raven still asleep. He shrugged it off and swung his feet over the bed. He immediately woke up more when his feet touched the cold wood floor. The sudden coldness encouraged him to get changed. So he did.

Just as his shirt was pulled on he turned around to see Raven thrashing around in her bed. Quickly, he ran to her side. Putting his hands on her shoulders and lightly shaking her; he managed to wake her up. What alarmed him is that once he woke her up, she sat up screaming and hyperventilating and sweating. "Raven.." She looked around the room frantically. As if she was looking for something. "Raven look at me." Damian demanded. Her head turned to his; their eyes locking.

"Calm down..you're okay. It was just a nightmare..." Raven began shaking while she struggled to regain control of her breath, "But-" She tried to speak. "But nothing." He paused. "Get some more sleep. I know you didn't sleep well last night." And with that he got up and walked to train for an hour. Leaving Raven to her own devices.
