His tears eventually subsided. And just in time to feel Raven's body shaking from the cold. Being the good boyfriend he is, Damian picked her up with the blanket still wrapped around her and carried her to his room. "Dame.." Her voice sounded as if she hadn't slept in days. The demon spawn set down is girlfriend on his bed. "Baby, I need you to stay awake for me for a bit okay? I think you're cold is getting worse or turning into something else." Raven nodded. Her sweating body shook with the soft blanket wrapped around her body.

The teen boy put the thermostat in her mouth. Once it beeped he removed it and took a look at her temperature. He could see the empath shiver from the cold, but also the sweat on her body. "You're temp is two above a hundred. I think you've gotten the flu sweetheart." Raven groaned. The blanket was removed from her shoulders before she stood up. Making her blood rush up to her head, she swayed. Damian swiftly held her still, "Come on Rachel..you know this would happen if you stand up quickly." He said. "I know I just wanted-" Raven began to speak but her legs gave out from under her. "Shit.." The son of Batman cursed under his breath after catching her weak body.

The door creaked open then closed. Ravens eyes opened slowly, "What time is it?" Damian looked at his phone then spoke, "Two hours past the time you fainted. So nine in the afternoon." He informed her. She sat up slowly, careful not to make herself pass out again. Out of no where her eyes watered, which turned into a cry. The current robin sat on his knees in front of the bed where Raven sat, facing him. He held his mages hands, "Can we have a serious and deep talk?" Her question was random but Damian decided this would be a good time to tell him what's been making her so sad. "Of course baby, just say what's on your mind." He softly told her before he got up, dimmed the lights, then sat in the corner of his bed near the wall, so Raven could lean on him. He ran his fingers through her silky and short hair while she talked. "I want to hurt myself again." Rachel stated blankly. "No." Was Damian's short and sweet response.
"Sometimes I just wish I could be someone else. Or..dead..I think that would be fun." Raven spoke her mind and left Damian speechless. He changed his grip on her, letting him look onto her wrist while she spoke. "I'm going to try again. The love you give me is just pity..how could you ever love something like me? I wish I could tell you what you mean to me..but I know you wouldn't give me the same answer..or any answer for that matter."

Damian was on the verge of screaming out his love for her. Tears were on the brim of leaving but he kept them in, to stay strong for her. "You're right. I wouldn't give you the same answer. I'd give you a better one than you would give me. I love you because you're just as broken as I am. I don't give people that mean so much to me pity. It's real love baby. I love you because..well, I don't think you'd want to hear every reason. If you did we'd be here for a while. And I swear on my life that I will protect you till the end, even if it means I have to protect you from yourself. Don't you dare try to die on me again. A world without you is hell. Cause baby, you're an angel disguised as a demon. You're my demon. You're my angel. You're my reason to live."
