She stared at the ceiling, thinking about what would happen if she was gone. If she was never born. What Damian would think about her awful way of dealing with pain. He would just break up with her. The thought of him leaving broke her quiet body into a sob. Her blood stained her wrist as it dried. Her thoughts corrupted her, as well as her father.
Give up already! You'll die trying to stop me.
Nobody on your pitiful earth can look at you without running in terror. It's your destiny to be like me, it's in your blood! The same blood that you'll never need again if you just end it all now. Nobody loves you! You little-
She cut her father off, "No! I'll never be like you!" She backed up against her mirror, causing it to fall and shatter. "No..no! No" She repeated to the voice in her head. Her magic encased some books causing them to fly out of the shelf and onto the floor. Her notes were scattered everywhere. Her body slid down the wall as she sat in a fetal position. Her door swung open a few seconds later. Luckily her sleeves were down. Her team and boyfriend, ready to attack, "Raven we-" Kori stopped her explanation when she noticed that Raven had caused the destruction. "Dude..what happened?" The green teenager asked to no one. "It looks like a tornado came through amigo." Jaime added to his best friend's question. Damian looked to them, "I'll handle this." They hesitantly walked away, curiosity filled their heads. The demons boyfriend cautiously stepped further into her safe haven and shut the door behind him. "Princess, what happened?" He crouched down to her level. The boy lifted his girlfriends head by her chin to look him straight in the eye. "What happened?" He asked with more meaning. She closed her eyes thinking that it would stop the tears from coming. It just let loose a few tears instead of keeping them in. "Trigon.." She started. Damian's face softened to comfort her, even though he was about to loose his shit. "I don't..want to be l-like him..I don't want t-to hurt you. I don't want to fuck up everything." He stayed crouched, not knowing what to say. All he could think of doing was pulling her into a tight hug.
"Rachel, you need to be more aware of your powers when you hear him." Damian said looking around her nearly destroyed room. He looked back to Raven, who had a face that was unreadable. "Angel..are you okay?" He spoke softly not wanting to provoke her. She nodded. "I want to be alone." She informed him sternly. He got up and made his way to the door. Looking back at Raven standing up he decided to observe her behavior. To make sure that she was completely fine. He took a breath and left, shutting the door behind him.
