It's so good it's pronounced twice, puff puff is a sweet yet savoury pastry that everybody loves, it's crunchy on the outside but chewy on the inside (I just can't get enough of it), it's is absolutely positively delicious and can be served during events like Birthday parties

                         INGREDIENTS
250gram plain Flour
2 teaspoon Yeast
Half teaspoon of grated nutmeg
Sugar (to your taste)
3 pinches of salt
Luke warm water
Vegetable oil
Icing sugar and cinnamon ( for dusting )

NB if you're using pebble shaped yeast then mix with warm water and keep aside but if it's in powder form then ignore this NB

                              METHOD

* Pour the flour into a bowl, add the grated nutmeg, powdered yeast (if you're using this type of yeast), sugar and salt. Mix all these together.

* Add water in small quantities and mix everything by hand till you have a good blend of all the ingredients.

* Add the yeast you mixed with lukewarm water if applicable (Use warm water to mix the puff puff ingredients if you want it to rise faster)

* Keep mixing till the batter is smooth but not too watery that it flows from a spoon. (The mix should be much thicker than pancake batter)

* Cover the bowl with aluminum foil or clinging film and make sure it is airtight by pressing the edges of the bowl

* Leave to rise for about 45 minutes

* When OK to fry, the Puff Puff batter should have risen in quantity and will have some air bubbles in it

* Pour some oil in a deep pot and allow to heat up, scoop puff puff batter and pour into oil (like you're frying round donuts), (make sure the oil is plenty enough that it completely covers the puff puff )

* Leave to cool down

* Mix your icing sugar and Cinnamon powder and sprinkle on the puff puff

Serve it with another drink of your juice (preferably a homemade juice) and voila
