14 days before I see her, the beautiful girl who kissed me.'
I thought as my carriage trundled over the road to Madison's house.
James and Dolly were in Virginia visiting family, and had allowed me to stay at their home while they were away.
14 days.
Angelica's POV
The ride home was long.
It was Eliza's turn to have verbal diarrhea and she would not shut up about alexander.
"He's George Washington's right hand man"
"He's from this island called Nevis in the Caribbean"
"He has the most amazing eyes"
I heard all of this, but I barely registered it.
I had kissed Thomas Jefferson.
Rude, hypocritical Thomas Jefferson
Flirty, funny Thomas Jefferson.
14 days until I saw him again.
14 days...
