chapter 7

i wake up tuesday morning and the first thing i think of is harry.

i look at the clock and it's 4:45am.

i roll out of bed and go straight to the bathroom.

i really do not feel like getting ready.

at all.

i hop in the shower and take a 20 minutes shower but nearly fall asleep.

while im getting out of the shower i slip and hit my arm on the side of the tub.

"well that hurt." i say out loud without realizing it.

my sister walks in.

"smooth move jackass."

"shut up." i say "just help me up."

"so i heard that harry guy asked you to lunch on wednesday!" she says with a wink.

"how'd YOU find out about that?"

"im a sophomore and word gets around. he's like the HOTTEST guy at school" she says loudly.

"well yea he did." i say with a little giggle and a smile

"moms never gonna let you." dakota says to me.

i say firmly "well she's not gonna find out. ok?"

"give me twenty bucks and she won't."

"fine brat." I say annoyed.

in my robe i go into my room and grab twenty dollars from my wallet.

"here, we good?" i say

"yep!" she says skipping off.

even though im younger i have a job, i work at some baby store.

it's boring but it pays well.

i go through the same routine as yesterday.

grab some pale blue skinny jeans, and neon yellow crop top and my white vans.

i get dressed, do my makeup, brush my hair, put my jewelry on, and brush my teeth.

my phone buzzes.

zach: "want a ride? im already picking kenz up and she lives like 3 minutes away from you."

me: "sure, how long?"

zach: "5 minutes?"

me: "ok dude."

my mom comes downstairs.

"do you want a ride kiddo?"

"oh no thanks mom, zachs driving kenzie and me." i reply sweetly.

"oh alright..i feel like we never spend time just us.." she says sadly.

"well you're always with dad so.." i reply while clinching my jaw annoyed.

"come straight home today? we will go get our nails done together ok?"

"ok mom." i say excitedly.

i hear zachs truck horn.

"bye mom!" i say while grabbing my backpack, my phone, and giving my mom a kiss.

"bye kiddo" she says while kissing me back.

i walk out the front door and see austin in the backseat again.

thinking to myself "oh my god. again? he always flirts and it's annoying!"

i hop into the car and buckle my seatbelt.

"hello gorgeous!" kenz says while smiling at me.

we pull out of my driveway and zach and kenzie are holding hands while he has one hand on the steering wheel.
