Chapter 1

*3 Years after the Battle of Hogwarts*

Ginny-

Today was the day. The day that Ginny Weasley was getting married to the man that she had been in love with since she was ten years old. Today Ginny was marrying Harry Potter. She had waited years for this very day and now that it was here, it seemed extremely surreal. She couldn't believe it.

Ginny did a slight twirl in the mirror and grinned at the way that her wedding dress moved with her. She had gone for quite a simple wedding dress. It wasn't the type that just went straight down, it had a little bit of flow to it with a train behind it and it was pure white. Ginny's hair had been curled slightly so that it cascaded down past her shoulder's and it was clipped up at the top at both sides of her head. To finish it off she had her Aunt Muriel's tiara which Fleur, Ginny's sister-in-law had worn for her wedding. Ginny felt truly beautiful.

"Ginny I found your flowers!" Ginny's best friend Taylor Windsor grinned, holding the bouquet that was made up of a variety of pink and white flowers.

"Thanks Tay, they're beautiful." Ginny smiled, taking them off of her.

"Just like you! You look stunning Ginny! Harry won't be able to take his eye's off of you!" Taylor grinned.

"Thanks Taylor." Ginny laughed a little.

"That's what I'm here for! But don't get used to the compliments that much, I'm not rht sort of person." Taylor shrugged.

"Oh don't worry, I won't. Wait, Taylor where's Teddy?!" Ginny cried, looking around for the three year old boy.

"Don't worry! He's with Mattie. He's got both Teddy and Olly." Taylor smiled, obviously thinking of her one year old son.

"Poor Mattie, leaving him with a one year old baby and three year old toddler. Good one Taylor." Ginny rolled her eye's.

"Taylor I really like those dresses." Ginny smiled at Taylor's baby pink bridesmaids dress.

"Thanks, they're really pretty aren't they. Hermione picked them." Taylor grinned.

"Thank you, I can't believe you two knew that I wanted baby pink." Ginny smiled.

"You said it after Colette's funeral that you wanted pink in memory of her at your wedding, so your wish has come true my lady." Taylor smiled, waving her hand like she was waving an imaginary wand.

"Colette would have looked beautiful in this colour." Ginny sighed, looking down at the floor. She then looked up and stared at the empty spot behind her where Colette would have been stood if she was there.

"Colette's probably wearing her bridesmaid's dress in heaven right now looking down at you and crying her heart out at how beautiful you look. She's always been the emotional type. She's ready to see you marry Harry Potter Ginny." Taylor smiled, placing her hand on Ginny's shoulder.

"Ginny, we're ready for you now- oh no, please don't tell me that you're having second thoughts!" Hermione burst into the room in the exact same bridesmaid's dress as Taylor and frowned at the look on Ginny's face.

"No she hasn't Hermione, we were just talking about Colette that's all." Taylor smiled half heartedly.

"Oh! I'm sorry do you want me to give you a few minutes?" Hermione asked, backing out of the door.

"No, no it's ok Hermione. I'm ready." Ginny looked in the mirror and smiled.

"Ok, great! Let's go then." Hermione grinned, grabbing her flower's off of the table and taking Ginny's arm.
