Chapter 13

Taylor-

It had been a couple of days since Mattie had walked out on Taylor and since Colette's ghost had visited her, but Taylor hadn't advanced on anything that Colette had said. For days she had been contemplating over where 'the darkness touches the light'. She had absolutely no idea where that place could be.

Of course, there were many places that it could be, like maybe some sort of cave but they were the only types of places that Taylor could think of. She knew that it wouldn't be any of her suggestions. When Voldemort and the Death Eaters were in power, they were extremely cunning, intelligent and manipulating; they always found perfect places to hide their prisoners. This is how Taylor knew that Ginny and James wouldn't be hidden in a cave. If the people that took them were anything like Voldemort and the Death Eaters then they'd be hidden away somewhere that they were sure would leave Harry wandering for weeks. They wanted to torture him with emotional pain.

Taylor took a deep sigh and moved the many papers around that were cluttering her desk forcefully. Ever since Colette's ghost had been to visit her, she had been doing a lot of research on places that James and Ginny might be hidden, but to no avail, she hadn't come across a single clue. She knew that people down at the Auror Office were probably doing the same thing, but she wanted to do something to help.

"Mum, what are you looking for, you've been sat in that room for days. Have you even eaten?!" Lottie's voice asked from the doorway.

"Of course I've eaten Lott" Taylor spat "I'm trying to find the clue that Colette gave me about Aunt Ginny and James' whereabouts."

"Mum, I don't mean to sound nasty when I say this but I think you're going a little crazy." Lottie stated.

"Lott you should know that I'm crazy anyway, at the minute I'm just working hard to find them. I need my best friend back." Taylor told her daughter, looking up from her desk for a minute.

"I know Mum, but whilst you're doing this you aren't fixing your relationship with your husband. If you don't try to sort this out sooner or later he's going to think that you don't care. Mum, Dad might be able to help you with all of this if you just go and talk to him." Lottie sighed.

Taylor looked up again and sighed, dropping the paper's back down on to her desk. She hated it when people were right instead of her and they knew it. Of course Lottie was right. Mattie was going to give up hope if she didn't go to him soon.

"I hate it when you're right. Right let's go, where is he?" Taylor sighed, picking up her car key's and swinging them around her finger.

"The Leaky Cauldron. Come on Mum, it's Dad. It's nowhere too adventurous." Lottie rolled her eye's, climbing into the passenger seat of Taylor's car once they had gotten outside of the house.

It took Taylor about half an hour to drive into the centre of London and down many side streets that lead to where the Leaky Cauldron was located. She had never really understood why she had learned to drive because she was terrible at it, and Lottie had been holding on to her seat tightly for the whole journey. How she hadn't been arrested by the muggle police for speeding Taylor didn't know.

"Lott I'm not sure about this." Taylor breathed once she had parked up outside the place where the Leaky Cauldron was hidden.

"Oh gosh Mum, you sound like a fourteen year old girl. He's your husband for Christ's sake!" Lottie cried, giving her Mother a shove so that she stumbled out of the car and on to the curb.

"OI! Don't shove me! I really fell out Lottie!" Taylor cried at her daughter as they entered the Leaky Cauldron.

"It had to be done." Lottie shrugged.
