Chapter 4

Ginny-

September the 1st. It was one of the most loathed days ever for a Mother. It was full of stress and tears that Ginny would rather avoid. Unfortunately for her, today was that day. This time, she wouldn't just be sending one of her children off for the year. Albus was also heading to Hogwarts this year, meaning that Ginny would only have Lily at home with her.

As soon as the alarm clock sounded at eight thirty on September the 1st, Ginny was already in a bad mood. She could feel Harry giggling at the side of her as she rolled over on to her front and groaned into the pillow.

"It's your favourite day of the year Ginny!" Harry laughed sarcastically tickling her side's.

"Shut up." Ginny moaned, trying to swat him away with her hand.

"Come on love, we have to get up. Al's going to be stressing about this morning and James isn't going to make it any easier for him." Harry told her.

"I know, I'll be up in a minute." Ginny answered. She felt Harry kiss her head before getting out of bed and presumably going down stairs to see if any of the children were up.

Ginny sighed and say up, rubbing her eye's. As soon as today was over, the better. She swung her leg's over the side of the bed and climbed out, walking slowly down the stairs and into the Kitchen where Harry was sat at the table with Albus and Lily.

"Morning." Ginny smiled.

"Morning Mum!" Lily answered.

"Morning Mum." Albus smiled. He looked extremely nervous.

"Where's James?" Ginny asked, pouring herself a bowl of cereal.

"Still in bed." Lily answered.

"Great." Ginny sighed.

Ginny slowly walked up the stairs and walked across the landing to James' room. She she sighed then banged loudly on the door.

"James! Wake up! We have to be out of the house by half past ten today!" Ginny cried. Ginny waited for a while, listening at the door, but there was no sound. Ginny rolled her eye's and burst into the room where James was still laid in bed with his pillow placed over his head.

"James!" Ginny shouted, pulling the covers away from him and taking the pillow off of his head.

"Mum! I'm tired!" James groaned, rolling over so that he wasn't facing her.

"James I swear that I'll go and fetch a bucket of water and throw it over your head if you don't get up now! You're going back to Hogwarts today!" Ginny cried.

"Fine. I'm getting up." James groaned, getting out of bed and waking over to his wardrobe.

"Good. If you're not downstairs in half an hour, I'll be back up here. It's already nine o'clock!" Ginny cried.

After she warned James, she headed back downstairs and quickly had her breakfast, rushing to eat. This is why she hated September the 1st.

Finally, an hour and a half later, all of James and Albus' thing's were in the boot of the car and they were ready to go with around twenty minutes to spare to get into the centre of London.

Ginny and Harry had both decided to learn to drive and buy a muggle car between the, so that they could go to places easier with James, Lily and Albus rather than apparating. Bedsides, Lily hated apparating so Ginny and Harry hardly ever apparated with the children.
