Epilogue
"Mum, I'm scared." Lily Potter stared at herself in the mirror, twirling around slowly.
"Honey don't be, you look so beautiful!" Ginny Potter rolled her eye's at her only daughter.
"I'm still scared Mum. Weren't you scared when you did this? You did marry like the Wizarding world's biggest celebrity!" Lily stared at her Mum questioningly.
"Of course I was nervous, but I wasn't scared. I was upset actually." Ginny shrugged.
"Upset?" Lily's head shot around to face her Mother fully rather than looking at her through the mirror.
"I was fine at first and then Aunt Taylor, being Aunt Taylor, mentioned Colette and I got upset that she wasn't there as one of my bridesmaid's." Ginny sighed.
"Oh Mum. I can't imagine what it must have been like for you to lose people that you loved." Lily said sympathetically.
"It was worse for your Dad, Lils. He felt guilty about everybody that died in that war because he thought that it was his fault. I think he still feels a little bit guilty even today." Ginny explained.
"What? But why? It wasn't his fault!" Lily cried, looking utterly confused now.
"Well you know what he's like. After every event that he's involved in he feels guilty in some way. He's clever, but he's got a strange mind." Ginny rolled her eye's, smirking a little.
"Are you two bullying me behind my back?" Harry Potter walked into the room.
"Of course not Dad." Lily laughed.
"Of course not honey, we were merely talking about you." Ginny grinned.
"Isn't that the same thing?" Harry asked, rolling his eye's.
"Nope." Ginny winked, turning back around to face Lily.
"Are you ready honey?" Harry stepped forward so that he was standing next to Ginny.
"I think so." Lily took a deep breath and turned around to face her parent's.
"I can't believe I'm letting you marry a Malfoy." Harry took a deep breath as the three of them walked out of the room.
"Dad, Draco helped you save Mum and Scorpius. Besides, Scorpius is a great man. He'll treat me right." Lily smiled reassuringly at her Dad.
"She's right Harry, he's good for her" Ginny agreed "There's no turning back now anyway, you already gave Scorpius permission to marry Lily."
"I know, I'm just thinking of bad outcomes. Ignore me Lils, I'm always like this." Harry told her,
"He's right, he's always been like this." Ginny smirked.
"What is it with you picking on me today?!" Harry cried, winking at Ginny.
"It's fun." Ginny shrugged.
The three of them had finally made it to the doors that lead inside the church where Scorpius and all of his and Lily's wedding guests were waiting. Ginny smiled and took one final look at Lily, tear's welling up in her eye's.
"Good luck Lils, I know that you're going to be just fine." Ginny smiled, kissing her daughter's cheek.
"Thanks Mum." Lily smiled, unable to hide her nerves behind her smile.
"See you soon, don't mess it up Harry." Ginny winked. She then quietly opened one of the doors, making sure that nobody could see Lily and Harry behind them and quickly made her way down to the front of the aisles of seats where James and his family was sat, along with Albus and his wife Eleanor. Taylor and Mattie were also sat in the row, nosing around at the Malfoy family and what everybody was wearing.
