Chapter 16
Ginny-
It had been a few days since Ginny and James had been saved from the Death Eaters lair in Little Hangleton. People said 'saved' but Ginny didn't feel saved from anything. She still has what technically was a devil child inside of her. They must have knocked her out when she got there if one of them raped her. She hated the thought of it. She felt dirty and infected.
Currently, Ginny was sat by James' bedside in St Mungos Hospital by herself just thinking things over in her head. Both herself and James had been affected by the Death Eaters and Ginny felt like she had let her son down. James had definitely been worst infected by it.
Ginny still thought it was a bit odd how the Death Eaters had just let them go. Obviously the Aurors had tried to arrest them, but they had apparated straight away before they could be arrested. The Aurors had however taken the pile of stunned Death Eaters to Azkaban. They obviously knew that they technically still had the group imprisoned. Ginny had a bad feeling about having the child removed from her.
Just then Harry entered the room quietly, holding two coffees in his hand's. He looked down at James and sighed, then at Ginny and sighed even louder.
"Harry! What have I told you about coming in here?! James could wake up and try to kill you! Remember what the healer said?!" Ginny cried in a whisper.
"Gin, he has nothing to kill me with! Anyway, I only came in here to tell you that the healer is ready to help you through the abortion. Hermione and Ron are coming to sit with James." Harry informed her.
"Okay, I'm coming." Ginny sighed, standing up and walking out of the room. She had an extremely bad feeling about this.
She followed Harry along a corridor until she came to a private room where Taylor was stood inside talking to the Healer. A bed lay in the middle of the room and machines were stood at the side of the bed. It looked like a muggle hospital room.
"Hello Mrs Potter, I'm Healer Jenny and I specialise in Muggle medicine in things like abortions, if you would like to lay down on the bed so that you are comfortable." The blonde healer smiled. That explained why the room looked like a muggle hospital room.
"Ok." Ginny nodded nervously.
"Ok, so these tablets will gradually work over time and you will find yourself bleeding but that's normal for this procedure. If you'd like to take two now and we'd like to keep you in for a couple of nights to analyse your progress." Healer Jenny smiled.
Ginny nodded and nervously placed the pill in her mouth. She then took a swig of water from the glass beside her bed and gulped two pills in a row down. However as soon as she had done this Ginny began feeling sharp pains in her lower abdomen.
"Ginny? What's wrong?" Harry asked, watching Ginny with confusion.
Suddenly Ginny let out an almighty scream. It felt as if her insides were being ripped to shreds. (A/N: A bit Twilight I know, sorry)
"Ginny! What's happening to her?!" Taylor cried, holding Ginny's hand as she screamed in pain.
"I better get a wizard healer, this is far beyond anything I imagined." Healer Jenny quickly ran from the room to look for a Healer.
"It's going to be okay Gin, it's alright." Harry told her, his eye's welling with tears at the sight of his wife in so much pain.
"GET IT OUT NOW!!!" Ginny yelled, squeezing Taylor's hand so much that it was nearly turning purple.
"CAN WE GET HELP PLEASE?!!" Harry stuck his head out of the door.
Seconds later, Healer Jenny ran into the room quickly followed by another woman Healer who had bright blonde hair. She attached the ultrasound to Ginny's stomach and gasped.
"What is it?!" Harry asked impatiently.
"It seems that whoever inpregnanted your wife has set a sort of curse on her so that you are punished. The child is gone but it seems that whatever the curse is is eating at her insides." The Healer cried, trying to hold Ginny down.
"Is she going to be ok?" Taylor asked, looking down at her best friend in horror.
"It's hard to tell at the moment. I'm afraid we have to let the curse take it's path and see what reaction it has. We can give her medicine so that it doesn't hurt her. If your her body fights this, she may survive." The Healer told Harry and Taylor gravely.
"What are her chances?" Harry asked, his voice quite hoarse.
"One in fifty."
