Chapter 19
Ginny-
"Lily, Al! Hurry up! We're going to miss the train! Al doesn't want to be late! That won't go down well on his first day as Head Boy!" Ginny yelled up the stairs.
It was September the 1st again, much to Ginny's dismay. Today, Albus was heading back to Hogwarts to start his Seventh Year and Lily was beginning her Sixth Year. Albus had been given the position of Head Boy for his Seventh Year and when they had received the news, both Ginny and Harry were extremely proud. Neither Harry or Ginny were Prefects, never mind Head Boy or girl, so this was a real honour. Albus was the second Potter to be Head Boy after his Grandfather. James had most certainly not been Head Boy whilst he was at Hogwarts.
Seconds later, Albus and Lily came hurrying down the stairs, Lily pulling her trunk behind her, whilst Albus made his levitate down the stairs.
"Al, I wouldn't do that if I was you. Uncle Fred and Unce George once made their trunks levitate and they knocked your Mum down the stairs." Harry laughed from the hallway.
"Very funny Harry. Fred and George were careless, Al isn't." Ginny rolled her eye's, pulling on her shoe's.
"Didn't I hear you say that Eleanor was Head Girl this year Al?" Lily teased him as she pulled on her converse.
'Yes she is Lily." Albus blushed a little. Eleanor Carlisle was a Half-blood witch in Albus' year and according to Lily and James, he had had a thing for her since his second year.
"Aw Al! Remember not to take James' advice, his advice is rubbish." Lily reminded him as they all climbed into the car.
"Lil, since when have I ever listened to advice from James. He asked Amber out by jumping into the Black Lake, i'm not doing that." Albus rolled his eye's.
"Oh how romantic." Ginny rolled her eye's sarcastically. James was such a charmer.
"If you want my advice, don't stutter Al, it makes you look like an idiot." Harry told him as he drove down the road.
"Haha! Your Dad used to stutter when he liked Cho Chang, it was so funny, he used to get nervous around her whenever she came near him. I think once he was having a drink and he dribbled down his front because she was looking at him." Ginny laughed.
"Thanks Gin." Harry muttered, blushing.
"You're as bad as James Dad!" Lily laughed.
"How did Dad ask you out Mum?" Albus asked.
"The second or the first time?" Ginny turned around in her seat to look at her children.
"Erm, both." Albus shrugged.
"Well the first time, your Dad had been banned from playing Quidditch and I played Seeker for that Match. Anyway, we won the house cup and I think we were talking when somebody pushed your Dad and we ended up kissing. That was the first time we dated." Ginny smiled.
"Thats so cute!" Lily grinned.
"Whatever, anyway, the second time we started dating we didn't stop and here we are today. Anyway, I think that it was just after the Battle Of Hogwarts and I went to find your Dad. He was in the Headmaster's Office feeling sorry for himself, we basically had an argument then made up again then he asked me to be his girlfriend and I said yes." Ginny smiled.
"You two have a really weird relationship history." Albus laughed a little.
"That we do." Harry nodded, laughing.
Twenty minutes later, the car pulled into the Car Park of Kings Cross Station. As usual, the station was extrememly busy for quarter to eleven in the morning. Hundreds of Muggles were weaving in and out of each other quickly to reach their Platform's.
