Chapter 12
Taylor- (A/N: Oh I'm going to enjoy writing this)
It had been a couple of weeks now since Ginny had been swept away by a tornado type Whirlwind and Taylor was feeling quite empty. The same kind of empty she has felt when Colette died. She knew that she wasn't herself, but how could she be? Her best friend was missing for god sake!
"Taylor? Are you in here?" Mattie's voice asked from the doorway.
"Mattie, you're staring at me sat on the bed, I'm obviously in the room!" Taylor snapped.
"Hey, hey, there's no need to snap at me, I was only wandering where you were." Mattie sighed, walking behind her and sitting on the bed.
"Well you've found me, now what do you want?" Taylor asked.
"Harry rang a couple of minutes ago and asked if you could go round there. I think he's a bit lonely Tay, he's in the same situation as you." Mattie sighed, raising his arm to put a hand on Taylor's shoulder, then thinking better of it and putting it back on the bed beside him.
"Yeah, I'll head round there now. Where's Lottie? I'll take her as well." Taylor abruptly stood up and flung open the wardrobe door, grabbing her jacket from inside it.
"Tay, I wish you'd just talk to me about whatever you're going through. I know it's hard, it's hard for everyone but because Ginny is Harry's wife, they're bound to find her. Harry won't give up until he finds both Ginny and James." Mattie told her, watching Taylor as she stood by the door frozen in her place.
"I asked where Lottie was." Taylor told him coldly.
"I can't keep doing this Tay. Not anymore. After all that we've been through, after everything I thought we were in a better place. We have three beautiful children yet you never seem to be happy Taylor."
"You think that I like being like this?! Of course I don't! We've gone through some tough times Mattie, sure, but I managed to pull myself through them. I've already lost one best friend, I'm not losing another!" Taylor cried, turning round and knocking the lamp off of the bed side table.
"Colette was my friend too Taylor! And so is Ginny! They all are! You make it sound as though you are the only one that's going through this, but you aren't! Think of Hermione, Ron, Mrs Weasley, Lily and Harry! The list goes on Taylor! I can't be with someone that's constantly down all the time Taylor! Where's the Taylor that I know? She's in there somewhere, I know she is. I love you Taylor with all my heart, but I can't do this anymore." Mattie sighed.
"Fine then! Go! If you don't want to do this anymore then I don't either! Get out!" Taylor roared, tears running from her eye's.
"Fine then. I will" Mattie cried, storming out of the room. "Oh, and Lottie's in her room by the way."
As soon as the front door slammed, Taylor sank to the floor in tears. How could she have been so stupid? Why did she tell Mattie to leave when right now she needed him the most out of everyone?
"Mum? What happened?!" Lottie ran into the room, throwing her arm's around her Mother's neck.
"I'm so stupid Lott. I told your Dad to leave and he did. He's right. I'm being so stupid sitting her moping around when I should be out there searching for Ginny and James. It would make much more sense." Taylor cried into her daughter's shoulder.
"Then go after him Mum. This isn't the Mum that I know." Lottie sighed, standing up and walking from the room. All of Taylor's children knew that it was better to leave her alone when she was upset.
