I was pretty out of it. Every morning I woke up I needed coffee. Maybe that doesnt sound weird to you but usually I didnt even need coffee. I normally woke up happy! So anyway today was one of those mornings. I woke up and rubbed my eyes. The words still rang in my head.

"Then youve lost the best friends you've ever had." It rang. I sighed and looked to Kyoya who, without a care in the world, was sleeping. I didnt want to get up but I had to. I had to write an essay on the job that I wanted and I had been procrastinating all week. I stood and went to shower. The water was very cold and honestly, I didnt feel like fixing it. I got out shivering then changed into my large sweater and tights with some boots. My still damp hair was fixed into a bun.

The computer beckoned me and I excepted. After logging in, I found it to be still on the page I had finished on. It read, "A work place suitable for me? The whole world! I'd like to travel and write about the adventures I experience and the danger I approach." Those were the last sentences anyway. I had written this in a happy mood. I didnt think I could continue. I heard Kyoya get up and yawn. "Good morning sunshine!" I smiled. He chuckled, still tired. I let him get up and get ready for the day in peace while I picked up the labtop and headed to the livingroom.

I typed up some words as happy and enthusiastic as I could make them sound. "Not to mention that for the longest time, Ive wanted to see what New York looks like! Ive seen it in pictures and reality shows but never in real life. Im about to burst with ideas on what to write about when I get there!" It was true. Ive been to many places and many people dont believe me when I tell them that I havent gone to New York!

So I typed for a while longer. After about half an hour I decided that it was enough for the day. I saved my work and sighed. I got up and turned to my room. Kyoya came down the stairs while drying his hair. "Nope. Youre not done yet." he smiled. I groaned, "Please! Im so tired.." He shook his head and met me at the bottom of the stairs. "You're never this tired. Whats wrong?"

I frowned. I wanted him to believe that the words from yesterday werent still burning strong in my head, but I was also surprised that he had been able to see there was something wrong. He put the towel on my head and shook his head. "Oh come on." he crossed his arms. I pulled the towel off my head and dried his hair with a smile. When I was finished I held his face with my hands still in the towel, "Im fine. Its just that.. People change either for the better or the worse.. Which one am I?" I asked.

He pretended to think then reasoned, "Well taking into consideration that you were regularly shop lifting and giving teachers heart attacks I would like to think" he kissed my forehead, "The best." I sighed and countered, "But Maire doesnt think so..." He snickered, "Youre going to go by that highlighter head's judgment?" I laughed, "The highlighter head was at one point my best friend.." He responded, "Yeah well youve got new best friends. Exactly.." he counted on his fingers playfully, "nine." I licked out my tongue at him, "Yes I suppose youre right.."

"Arent I always?" He smirked. I shoved him away, feeling a little better. But I decided that I could do some more of the essay later.  My stomach growled. "Breakfast time?" he noted. I nodded. Venice came to the living room and announced, "Breakfast time indeeeeed!!" I grinned and lead Kyoya. Sadie was just finishing putting down the last plate of eggs. I raised my eyebrows at the table full of food. "Dont you think thats a bit much for just the four of us?" I asked Sadie. She frowned, "Four?" I laughed and rolled my eyes, "Ofcourse. Venice and you are eating with us." I explained.

Venice frowned but didnt argue. Sadie hesitated but took a seat. "It would be too much if one of us wasnt a complete pig." teased Kyoya with a glance at me. I gently punched him on the arm and sat. In the middle of our meal I heard a buzz of a phone. Kyoya's. He took it out and stared at the screen for a second until informing me that he had a meeting with some incorporation staff tomorrow. I smiled and asked, "Really? What have they discussed with you about handing over the business?"
