I yawned, "Tamaki couldnt we have waited until a bit later to do this? I mean its 7 in the morning." Tamaki held a sparkle in his eye, "I wanted you to see this." The twins were having trouble staying awake as well, in fact all of us were. It was kind of funny when it came to Mori who's eyes kept drooping the slightest and when Honi moved just the smallest amount his eyes popped right back open. We didnt dare invite Kyoya to our little morning sight seeing, knowing that he would bite our heads off so we left him to sleep back in his room.
So we waited in silence for what seemed like hours until finally, "There! Right there. Will you look at that, gang?" Tamaki exclaimed excitedly. Haruhi looked up and so did I. The sun was just peeking through the giant snow peaks. I smiled and rolled my eyes at how stupid Tamaki could be. "Thats nice and all but-" I started but Tamaki continued, "My mother and I...we once came to see this sight. the sun rising up..in the first moments of...." He trailed off, needing to say no more. I gasped quietly because I didnt know how deep it went. I was glad that I never finished my sentence.
I walked up to Tamaki and hugged him tightly. The twins slowly joined and the last to join was Haruhi along with Honi and Mori. Tamaki looked down at us gratefully. Then my phone rang and I swear, that was the worst time for it to. I giggled nervously and we all parted, "If you'll excuse me." I pardoned then hissed into the phone, "What is it." Kyoya answered in his oh-so-cute morning voice.
"Where the hell are you idiots at"
...
I exhaled and answered in a more respectful tone, "We're outside. In front of the biggest snow peaks. Did you know that-" He hung up. I growled and then as well ended the call. I put my phone back in my pocket and looked back to the group. They had already gotten started on eachother's nerves. I begun my mother act, "Hikaru there's no need for you to shove snow into your pants, TAMAKI stop betting money!! Kaoru you better stop sitting on Haruhi. Mori, make sure Honi doesnt fall in that snow pile." I sighed then heard footsteps in the snow.
Kyoya walked over with a scarf around his neck and a black jacket and skinny jeans. Didnt look warm enough but he seemed to be okay. "Good morning" I smiled. "Hey" He smiled dryly. He made his way over to me and put his arm around me and topped it off with a kiss on my forehead. I smiled.
"Hey why is Hikaru about to shove snow down his-" I put my index finger on his lips not removing the creepy smile on my face.
"Dont ruin the moment." I said through the smile. Kyoya snickered then laughed quietly. Tamaki finally put his wallet back in his pocket and announced, "Aaaaalllright! Now," He held up his ski poles dramatically, "We ski." I rolled my eyes and reached for my equipment as well as Kyoya's and everyone else got to putting everything on.
I grunted, "So heavy" and Haruhi agreed, "Mmhm. Feels like I'm carrying lead in my boots." I helped her put her skis on and she helped with mine. When we were finally all set we got to climbing slope after slope. Kyoya seemed to have no problem and same with Tamaki. The rest of us clambered after them. "Hey wait up" Called the twins. As Mori advanced with Honi on his back he responded in his normally quiet voice, "then step it up." I rolled my eyes at him and made my strides longer.
Haruhi seemd to get the hang of it quick enough. Hikaru was still struggling but Kaoru grinned as he got better. I panicked as I begun to get left behind. I tried to go faster but still couldnt catch up. Finally, even Hikaru passed me up. I hummed quietly to keep my self comforted. Kyoya looked back at me and let Tamaki know that he was going to stay behind with me. Tamaki called back, "be careful!"
Kyoya slid down to me and gave me tips on how to get a good grip on the snow. "Thanks" I smiled. We seemed to be doing well enough until we got near to the top. Tamaki and the rest stood, waiting for me. Kyoya offered, "Ill go on ahead, you can do this." I nodded as he climbed up. Everything went wrong when Kyoya took that last step to the top. There was a small sound that indicated that he had stepped on a weak spot. I gasped as everyone else's eyes went wide and a giant pile of snow consumed me.
