Red Sweater Tom

An Explanation?

You're awakened by a pounding in your head. You move your hand to touch your forehead where you feel the pain, but something is holding your arm down. You slowly open your eyes and look down at your wrist.

It is attached to an armrest with a rope. You tug your arm to try to loosen it free, but it doesn't help. You look at your other arm to see that it is tied up also. You move your body to stand up, but your ankles are strapped to the legs of the chair. You move around for a second, but then give up.

•

Looking around, you see that you are on an old stage. There are hundreds of empty seats in front of you, where an audience would sit. You look at the stage floor and see the wood looks old and faded.

Suddenly, you hear footsteps coming from somewhere behind you.

•

"Hello? Who's there?" You ask shakily, even though you know who it is.

•

He chuckles creepily. "I'm pretty sure you know who is here, darling," the man says, clearly mocking Tom.

•

"Don't call me that! I don't know you! What are you gonna do to me?!" You yell.

•

You see the man step into your line of site. He is wearing a suit, and his hair is blonde, but shaggier than you remember. He is looking down with a slight grin on his face.

•

"You'll find out soon enough," he says, then pauses. His dark green eyes dart towards yours.

•

You just stare at him for a minute or two. He walks over to the right side of the stage. You see a small table stand with a bunch of things sitting on it. "Why are you doing this? What did Tom ever do to you?"

•

"Well, since you're going to die, I may as well tell you," he says nonchalantly. He then walks towards the table and picks up one of the things on it, "but not right now."

•

"No, please, I need to know this!" You beg.

•

He turns so he's facing you, "all you need to know right now is that he took my future from me," he says calmly. His lips curl up into an evil smile. "And now I'm gonna take his future from him."
