You jump back, scared.

Before you can say a word, Tom is laughing at your startled reaction.

"Thomas William Hiddleston! You are an ass!!" You say to him, then grasp your towel, ensuring that it won't fall.

"I'm sorry, darling, I couldn't resist the urge to scare you! It was just a bit of fun!" He says, still smiling.

"Tom! I was actually scared! I thought you were....him..." You say, turning away.

Tom, grabs your shoulder and pulls you back to face him.

"Oh, love, I'm sorry... I didn't even think about that... I'm so sorry..." He says, then pulls you into a hug.

You pull away after a minute then say, "Tom, look at this." You pick your phone up off the bed, which it fell onto when you got scared, and unlock it once more. You click on your messages and show Tom the message the stranger sent you.

Tom reads it multiple times, then sits on the bed and puts his chin on his hand with his elbow on his thigh.

"Tom, I'm starting to get really genuinely scared..." You say, sitting next to him.

"Now I really feel awful for scaring you. I'm so terribly sorry, y/n," he says, putting his hand on your knee.

"It's okay, Tom, I'm always really jumpy anyways. But we really need to figure this out. He's scaring me," Tom looks at you, sensing the emotion in your voice. He wipes the stray year that ran down your cheek, then stands up.

"The place I wanted to pick food up from for lunch is close this week. We can go to the cafe and try to figure this thing out, how does that sound?" Tom says with a reassuring smile on his face.

You give him a half hearted smile then start to get up and walk with him out of your bedroom.

"Umm, darling...?" He says, holding back a laugh.

"What?" You ask, confused.

"You're not going to lunch in a towel, are you?" He says, letting a chuckle out.

You give yourself a little facepalm, then turn around and head towards your closet. Tom shakes his head, chuckling, while he closes your bedroom door.

Not even ten minutes later, you thrown on some cute, but comfy clothes and are ready to leave. You didn't bother putting make up on or doing your hair because you just weren't feeling like it today.

You and Tom walk down a few blocks to your favorite cafe. Its a place mainly for locals, so Tom feels comfortable going there without being worried about being bombarded by fans. He loves his fans, but everyone needs they're privacy.

As you walk down the street, Tom keeps bumping his hand with yours. You keep moving a little farther away, not understanding why he keeps bumping you.

"Darling, why do you keep moving away?" He finally asks.

"Well you keep bumping into me!" You say, assuming it was obvious.

"I'm doing it on purpose!" He says, smiling. "I'm trying to do this, love!" He says while he slips his hand into yours, interlocking your fingers.

You smile, remembering that you two are finally more than just friends. You're not quite sure what you are yet, but you know that there's more there now and you can't contain your happiness. You lean up and quickly kiss his cheek. He squeezes your hand lightly after the sweet surprise and you both continue to walk towards the cafe.
