The next day, Tyler met up with Josh at school, as usual.
"Tyler, what are those marks?"
"What marks?"
"On your arm there."
"Oh, I saw a cat yesterday in the street, so I tried to pet it, and it scratched me."
Lie Two
"You should get it looked at then. Who knows where that cat could've been, and what it had."
"Yeah, I will."
"Okay, good."
The boys went to class, and did their usual school things. At the end of the day, Josh usually walked Tyler home.
"Could I walk by myself again today?"
"Uh, I-I guess so. If that's what you want."
"I might just walk by myself from now on. I like it. I'm a big boy, I know that, but I don't always feel like that, and this makes me feel like a big boy."
"Okay, Tyler, you can walk by yourself from now on. You're a big boy."
"Thanks, Joshy!"
Tyler skipped all the way home. He couldn't wait to try and get to heaven again.
