"Wow, you really don't want that guy to find out. But I do think you should tell him. He's your friend, and he's worried."

"It's none of his business. It's my own personal matter, he doesn't need to know."

"You've changed since last time I saw you. You don't seem as...Innocent."

"Yeah, I'm not an idiot. I changed for the better."

"Are you really gonna drop out of school?"

"Yes."

"What did you mean about your funds running out?"

Tyler knew he shouldn't tell him. The only person who knew was Josh. He'd promised himself not to speak of it. Yet, here he was, about to spill to Brendon.

"A few years ago, my parents died in a car crash. They were quite wealthy, and left me everything they had. We lived in this huge house, and I could've continued to stay there, I suppose, but it felt so lonely, and empty. Plus, in a big house, the bills were more expensive, and though I had more than enough money, I wanted to keep it for as long as possible. So, I sold it, and moved here. I sold basically everything in that house. I grew up there, and it was hard, and I regret it, but I know it was the right decision."

"Oh, Tyler, I'm so sorry."

"Save it. There's no need to be sorry. It happened, it's over, and I've been trying to move on with my life."

"You said there was more than enough funds, though. How would you run out after only a few years?"

"I didn't."
