Tyler couldn't stop thinking about what Brendon had said.
Would he really miss out on so much joy?
But heaven sounds so glorious. Could it be true that it's not his time? Is he supposed to stay for a while longer? How much longer?
What does he do?
Tyler remembered in church when they would pray, and God would answer his prayers.
Maybe if Tyler prays, God will answer him. Tell him if it's his time.
So, at night, just before he was going to bed, he got down on his knees, and said his prayer.
"Hi, God. I haven't talked to you in awhile, I'm sorry about that. You should know what's happened. So now I'm asking you for your help. I want to go to heaven, just to see what it's like. I've heard it's amazing. But Joshy tells me I don't want to, and that it's not my time, and Brendon tells me that I'll be missing out on all the joys of life if I go. But I really want to go. God, what do I do? Tell me, please. Give me some type of sign, let me know what to do."
