Everything seemed to be going great, but there was always this part of Tyler that still wondered what heaven was like.
He wondered when he was going to leave this earth.
When was his time?
Tomorrow?
A week from now?
In a year?
Fifteen years?
Twenty years?
He hated not knowing, but he just reminded himself that that's part of the life experience.
"What do you wanna do?"
"We could go to the park?"
"Nah."
"Ice cream?"
"No. What about the fair?"
"No."
"Well, do you have any other suggestions, Joshy?"
"We could go back to your place and play games?"
"Sure."
The two went back to Tyler's and played games. It never ceased to keep them amused.
"Hey, Joshy?"
"Yeah, Tyler?"
"Have you ever thought about moving in with me?"
"I don't know, why do you ask?"
"Well, school is almost over, we're best friends, and I just thought maybe...You'd like to?"
"Tyler, I'd love to!"
"Really?"
"Yeah!"
