Chapter 10

Timeskip to the Fall of Beacon

Grim swarm through the ruined city, causing havoc and mayhem. Countless lives have been taken, and countless more to come. You had been separated from your friends in the battle, and desperately started searching for all of Team RWBY. After all, if this was a White Fang operation, than Adam Taurus would be here. You knew he wouldn't exactly be thrilled to see you again.

Eventually you found him. He'd already stabbed Blake, and cut off Yangs arm. He raised his sword for the killing blow. " Iron Dragon Roar!"

Bits of shredded metal hit him. His aura protected him from any major damage. He turned to face you. " Wonderful. I finally get to kill the man who destroyed the Element Four, as well as the man who stole Blake from me."

" You can try. But a fight between a Dragonslayer and a pretty boy ain't exactly liable to go your way," you state. From the corner of your eye, you can tell that Blake has already carried Yang away. Excellent. Now all you have to do is hold Adam off long enough so that he won't be able to find them.

Shockingly fast, he dashes for you. You don't have time to put up your scales, and blood flies from a cut on your stomach. Before he can follow it up, your put up your scales just in time. However, Adam smirks. When his blade connects with you, electricity courses through you, dropping you to the ground.

" Electric Dust," he explains. " Your ultimate defense revolves around your scales and endurance. It is tougher than most to beat. However, because they happen to be metal, electricity has increased effect. Now you have to choose. Either you get shocked by my sword, or drop your scales and get cut open."

You rise to your feet. He stabs at you, and you drop your scales, allowing the attack to pierce your stomach. Then, you redeploy the scales, locking his sword inside of you. He starts to electrify you, doing untold damage to your insides. You turn your foot into a club, and jam it through his right foot, locking him in place. Blood flies everywhere and he cries out in pain.

" Let's just see....which one of us can take a bigger ass kicking," you say. " Iron Dragon Roar!"

As you get electrified, he gets cut up by your Roar. A few minutes pass, and both of you stop. You just can't hold your roar anymore, and you suspect that he's out of electric Dust. Your foot returns to normal, allowing him to move freely, although he's limping. In addition, your scales drop, and he pulls his sword out of you.

This is the end for you. You suspect that if this were a tournament style battle, your aura would at most be at 5 percent. No matter what it is, you've won. By this point, Blake and Yang are long gone. You just have to hope you've done enough to Adam that the Atlas Forces can finish him off.

As Adam swings downward to kill you, your body moves on its own and dodges the attack. As he swings again, your hand turns into a club, blocking the attack. In your mind, you can hear Rubys voice. " Come on (y/n)! We've lost enough people already! You have to come back to us!"

As you thought, Adam is out of electric dust. So when the sword connects with your club arm, there's an explosion. Fire dust. The club cracks and your arm is back to normal. He thrusts his sword at you again. As you counter with Iron Dragon Hard Fist, the voice of Weiss resonates in your head.

" You're a member of Team RWBY. You can't lose to him. It would reflect poorly on all of us."

His sword pierces your fist, and he shoves it further up your arm. You drop to your knees. Then you hear Yangs voice. " Yang in there tough guy. None of us want to lose you today. I know you're stronger than him."

You focus and deploy the scales over your arm, once again trapping his sword in place. An unexpected voice sounds in your head. Metallicana. " (y/n)... I know I wasn't the best father figure. But know this. I've always watched over you. You've made mistakes, but watching you fight for your friends, I've never been prouder. I know I have no right to say it. But hang in there son."

Before Adam can use the Fire Dust, you turn your free arm into a sword and stab it into his stomach. Then it turns back into normal. The last voice you hear belongs to the love of your life. " (y/n)", says Blake. " You have to beat him. Or at the very least live! Adam has already taken so much from me. Please don't let him take you away too."

With the arm that has his sword trapped in it, you flex. Pain shoots through you and his sword breaks. You grab the blade, and rip it out of your arm. " Of course Blake," you say to yourself. " I will seal your darkness away."

Adam tries to flee, but the damage you did to his foot is simply too great. You take his blade and eat it, replenishing your power. You clap your hands together, and they combine to form a great sword, which towers over buildings. " Dragon Slayer Secret Art! Iron God Sword!"

You swing the blade down, causing an explosion. When the dust settles, Adam is dead. You barely have enough time to process that as your eyes shut, and you collapse.
