A gentle tapping on Princess Embers door signaled somebody's presence. She groaned, and looked down at her red-furry paws. She sniffed the atmosphere, and raised her small muzzle in the air a little. She could actually tell who it was at the door by their scent. She quickly jumped to her paws, and looked to the door in alarm as if they might just walk in. She caught her reflection and gazed at herself for a moment. She was a gorgeous red fox, with a thick long tail, and very gentle eyes. Her form was slender, yet fluffy with clean autumn fur. Suddenly, to her horror, whoever was there began to come in. She skittered with the shadow the door cast in to a passageway that led to the hallway, leaving herself undiscovered at the moment.
Madame Quinn stood in the open door of Princess Ember's room, and was just confounded for a moment. She distinctly remembered hearing somebody in that room. After what happened at dinner, she was just worried about the young princess. What if she was hurt, or what if something bad happened to her. She looked around the well furnished room, and admired certain aspects. The room was painted a delicate lavender, with a taint of silver on the other two stone walls. Tapestries of foxes adorned the walls, and chairs with intricate designs of purple and grey sat in two different parts of the room. A dresser adorned with several statuettes of foxes and ribbons sat near a window on a far wall. A Mandolin sat in the corner of the room in a stand, and large coal grey curtains hung over the windows. The master piece of the whole room was the bed though. It was simply divine. The bedspread was a silver at the top, and melted into a pretty lavender near the bottom including tassels on the ends. Several purple and grey pillows littered the bed with several crocheted fox and dragon stuffed animals among the pillows. The room was stunningly gorgeous.
So anyway, back to present, Madame Quinn was distracted by the beauty of the room, and finally came back to her senses as why she came in here. Princess Ember was in some sort of trouble and she wanted to help her. When she turned to leave the room, a servant caught her attention. At that point in time, she began to wonder if it t'was even her business to begin with.
"Madame Quinn, Elder Jeanne wishes to have thy audience." the servant informed her. "Please follow me Miss."
