Sovereign Nathan came forward to the round table, and laid his sword upon it. He led the generals and important leaders in any military action. Sovereign Nathans blue robe reached to the ground, and swayed below his shoulders. The villages around the castle were in dire straights because the villages were not providing for themselves. The lord of the land informed us that peasants were having revolts, and planned to attack the castle just to get their point across the board.
"I shall pray for guidance." Sovereign Nathan stated. "For His way is better than ours. We should put it in His hands, for it is better there than in our own." he concluded. They left with that, sliding their swords off the table which made a sharp scratching sound against the stone. Sovereign Nathan picked his up last, and sheathed it. After the meeting, he went to the stone cathedral in the village to pray.
The village was like that of any other in Medieval times. It had small, rickety houses and buildings with old fencing that was probably useful a long time ago. Peasants weaved among others in the crowded market place, and random animals added to the chaos. Up the hill was the castle that could be seen from any point in the village. A cat wandered by as a few soldiers watched the town vigilantly.
There was one thing missing though. The markets used to be filled with food, but the farmers fields had been completely depleted, and the moorlands were not arable. People were running their supplies and animals down to nothing because of the famine. The only animals left were used to sustain them. Worse yet, they didn't only have to feed themselves but also the lords and their families.
All the villagers decided on one solution though. The best thing they could think of was to raid the castle, and hold the Princess captive until they got the food they needed. They all planned to do it during the next full moon. They had an entire army prepped and ready for this plan, and nobody could stop them.
