"we'll need more duct tape, definitely," hoseok grumbled. "this is such a problematic idea. we could just buy the actual thing. monie? of course, you're not even listening!"

namjoon looked up at his loud, raging friend with a bored expression. "hey," he called, "can't you see i'm cyber stalking?" hoseok snorted.

"you? who are you stalking?"

namjoon's cheeks turned pink as he rotated the screen toward him. hoseok practically skipped to his friend, squatting down to see the screen clearer. he stared at the photo of a broad shouldered guy with pink hair, wearing an oversized sweater and glasses. even lazily clad like that, he looked like a model, so hoseok understood his friend's snooping. "who's that?"

"i have no idea," he replied, a forlorn tone in his voice. "he just constantly likes what i  post." he groaned. "i've been infatuated for a few weeks, months maybe. it's ridiculous."

hoseok rolled his eyes with a scowl. "you know what's more ridiculous?" namjoon looked up at the sudden saltiness of his friend, locking his phone to give him full attention. "how weird yoongi's been acting recently. i mean, his coffee problem is already bad but now he goes to that coffee shop like at least twice a day! he barely debuted as a rapper a few months ago and i'm pretty sure he's bankrupt now."

"so he likes his coffee and pastries. so what? leave him alone."

"no, you don't get it. i think he has a crush on a barista or something! you know the ballad he claimed he wrote while downing a cup of coffee at that shop? well the day we went together, he edited it! and it turned out even better? and we were in the coffee shop! i'm telling you, he has a crush on a girl there—."

"or guy," namjoon interrupted.

hoseok snorted. "what? him. gay? you're delusional."

namjoon turned away from him, a bit irritated. "look, hoseok, i've been around since day one, okay? i know what i'm saying. he's bisexual. you would know, too, if you hadn't just disappeared from his life because fame was suddenly more important to you."

hoseok flinched, looking away. "you're right. sorry. "

the door of namjoon's room was kicked open and yoongi entered, hauling a bag of pastries and three cups of coffee. hoseok helped him immediately, carrying the coffees for him and closing the door. namjoon stood up as the other two set the things down on namjoon's desk and looked at yoongi curiously.

he looked like he had been shocked right out of his socks.

and he had been, the moment he walked into the shop.

the guy had been with the silver haired boy from three nights ago, and a tall dude with brown hair and a warm smile. yoongi had noticed there was a flirtatious atmosphere between the other two and that the object of his pining seemed happy to see them interact, although sometimes looked irritated. so that was a good thing: the short guy with the silver hair and princely aura was just a friend.

but the other thing... had left him speechless.

the tall boy's hair was now blonde.

yoongi wanted to scream at how attractive he was.

he had looked up, small smirk on his lips, eyes narrowed just right, but then when he met with yoongi's seemingly bored stare, he dropped his gaze and turned deep red.

yoongi had turned away so he could grin as widely as he wanted to.

the stranger was totally into him, after all.

or probably not, let's not jump to conclusions.

with a sigh, he dug through the bag of pastries.

he just wished to have the courage to approach him.

"what's on your mind, yoongs?" namjoon wondered.

"a fucking god," yoongi replied, then stood there frozen in silence at what he had just sputtered. hoseok's jaw hit the floor as namjoon gave him a soft smile.

"what's his name?" namjoon asked, curious about the man who had his friend spacing out in the middle of the room.

there was just a slight hint of a blush on yoongi's cheeks when he let out a little puff of air. "the asshole ordered his coffee under the name 'v'."

hoseok cackled and yoongi smacked him as hard as he could while namjoon grinned.

he knew one person who liked to order with the name v.

"what a small world," he mumbled, but neither of the other boys heard him because they were too busy bickering. yoongi would have a field day if he knew just how closely connected to this stranger he already was.

namjoon thought of the pink haired boy and longed for a plot twist like that, too.
