It felt as if all the nerves in my body had just froze. Normally I wasn't a very shy or blushy person, but after meeting Harry fūcking Styles, apparently you become a freaking tomato.

"Yeah, her name's Chester." I stood up from my kneeled position, admiring him as I straightened myself.

Just clad in a pair of sweats and a t-shirt he still managed to look absolutely perfect. Pretty sure my that time of month was due as my hormones had never been so whack out of control.

"That's Orion, my dog." He cracked a smile, looking down at his pet. I raised an inquisitive brow; a small smile on playing on my lips. "A constellation, huh?"

He seemed somewhat pleased with my reply as he edged forward towards me. "I like a girl who knows her stars." But before I could reply, he turned around, his leash in hand, bid me goodbye and walked away.

Well talk about awkward.

"No, Noah, he just turned around and left? Who even does that." I stressed on the phone to my best friend, the phone dangling between my shoulder and ear as I stuffed all the books in my bag for tomorrow.

"Chill Zar, maybe the guy just wanted to be mysterious." She replied nonchalantly. "Mysterious my āss. He can't even continue a proper conversation." I grumbled, shoving my bag aside and walking into my bathroom.

"How late are you?"

"Three days late and it's scaring me a little..:" I muttered, leaning against the sink counter. I could hear shuffling on the other side until a very serious Noah spoke, "When's the last time you got some?"

"Maybe like a month ago." I furrowed my eyebrows in thought. "I mean, that doesn't even make sense. Doesn't it take like 3 weeks or something?"

"Yeah I guess. Don't fret about it too much." Noah consoled. "If you say so." I sighed in relief.

The day at school went smoothly up until the fourth period. Everything was fine; I was perfectly happy basking in the attention of none other than Harry Styles in our shared literature class. My brother and his cronies weren't in the room, giving me and Harry enough privacy.

Everything was just peachy, until I felt something sticky between my legs. I could feel my humiliation rising as I felt something drip through my underwear and onto my pants. Okay, so in hindsight, maybe it wasn't right for me to wear cream coloured shorts especially in light of recent events.

My cheeks flushed red, and I had absolutely no idea on how to tackle the situation. Stay calm, stay calm- I mentally chanted; knowing if I had a panic attack it would've just made things worst.

Harry noticed my discomfort, leaning forward to whisper in my ear, "Are you okay Zara?" His voice actually seemed concerned.

"I-I-I'm in a mess." I whispered awkwardly, not knowing what the fūck to do. He then placed a comforting hand on my shoulder, "Hey, you can tell me anything." His firm yet gentle tone quickly soothed my hazed mind and I found myself telling him.

"I think my...my p-period just started...and I-I didn't...come prepared...?" My whole sentence was a blubbered mess and most definitely came out as a question. Since my eyes were downcast the entire time, I slowly lifted them up to meet his—hoping that there was no sign of disgust. His eyebrows were furrowed and his mouth was shaped into a tiny 'o', indicating that he was deep in thought.

Slowly, he started unbuttoning his shirt...in the middle of class. "Harry what the hell are you doing!?" I harshly whispered, trying not to draw any attention to the back of the class.

He shushed me with his finger and then proceeded to unbutton his full-sleeved flannel shirt. "I have a top on underneath. Wrap this flannel around your waist and excuse yourself to the washroom." His serious face bored into mine.

How on earth had he thought of this game plan. I was actually so shook.

"Thank you so much." I smiled sincerely at him. This was one of the most kindest things one had ever done for me. The fact that he was ready to sacrifice his shirt and most definitely his dignity—because walking around in a black wife-beater wasn't really flattering— spoke so much about him as a person.

A genuine smile appeared on his face. "You're welcome. Now go!"

"Wow." Noah let out a huge breath. "Guess chivalry isn't dead after all." We both had a free period, so we decided to come and chill at the cafeteria.

"Right? That was the most gentlemanly-est thing ever Noah." I was gushing like a fan-girl now. She then looked at me funny. "You've seriously caught the love bug."

I scoffed, resting my head down on the table. "You mean the darn love elephant? Ugh, I need God."

"You only need me, really." A third voice joined our conversation, pulling up the chair beside me. Oh boy, how much of this conversation had he heard?

"Hey Harry." Noah greeted, and then smiled when he reciprocated the action. "Zara was just telling me how you became her knight in shining flannel and saved her from her humiliation."

He obviously did do that. After I was excused from the class, I went to the nurse's office and had to call home for an extra set of pants and obviously sanitary napkins.

I almost choked on my spit, sitting back straight to compose myself. Harry looked from Noah to me, a grin obvious on his face. "Anything for my Zara."

The old Zara can't come to the phone right now. Why? Because she just fūcking died of a heart attack.
