Recap from chapter 05:

"Honey," Louis snorted as if I had just said the most ridiculous thing ever, "I don't do relationships, or love."

- end of recap.

"Holy shit Zara, I am in love." Louis whispered in my ear wildly as he tried to remain calm. "I am ready to settle down, get married and have five fūcking kids already."

"Louis, you're overreacting." I stated plainly, getting tired of his antics. He'd been doing this ever since I arrived to school, which was about 15 minutes ago. He took offence to my comment though, "Overreacting? Fūcking look at her!"

I sighed and cocked my head to the side, trying to be as subtle as possible. I spotted the new-newbie, a few lockers away from mine. Long, blonde hair flowing down in small waves; body covered in washed out jeans, and blue t-shirt. Her skin was a beautiful warm tone, but it was obvious that was a summer tan.

"I'm gonna go talk to her, wanna join?" I asked Lou, who looked like he was on the verge of getting down on his knees and proposing to her any minute. "Fūck no." And he ran as fast as he got those words out of his mouth.

Shaking my head, I approached the new girl. I tapped her lightly on the shoulder, making her honey blonde hair whip in the wind. She's actually so beautiful...woah.

"Hey, I'm Zara." I greeted with a smile, hoping she would find my approach friendly rather than creepy. She instantly smiled, her blue-grey eyes crinkling as did so. "I'm Olivia, nice to meet you."

Olivia's voice had a weird sense of confidence in them. It's as if she knew she was being stared at by half the school, but she couldn't be bothered. She had a firm stare. It almost felt like she was sizing me up...it was quite unsettling.

"Um, can I see your schedule?" I politely asked. "Yeah of course." She shuffled in her bag, pulling out a slightly crumpled piece of paper.

I took it from her hand, analysing the sheet and coming to the conclusion that I was semi-safe of her. We only had 1 period together which honestly, I was immensely grateful for. We had English together, which I basically shared with all of my friends.

"My first class is English. Can you tell me where that is." She stated rather than asking me nicely. I'll take it, this is her first day. Plastering another smile on my face I agreed, "I do too, let's go."

I lead her to the classroom which was still sort of empty. After memorising the location of class A1, Olivia went to collect her books from the library as I stood in the doorway. I saw Noah in her usual seat, eyes scanning over some council papers. Zayn napping in his chair, and Louis still having heart palpitations from when he saw Olivia. My eyes wandered to Harry's seat which was still empty.

Please, please come today; Or I've dressed up for nothing. Although it wasn't anything too fancy, I'd say a floral sweatshirt and some black leggings weren't too shabby.

While I was lost in my thoughts, I couldn't exactly tell when a pair of arms encircled me from the back, pulling me into a hard chest. From the corner of my eye, I saw the familiar head of brown curls and couldn't contain my smile.

"Harry." I sounded way too breathless than I'd like to. "Zara." My name was whispered back in my ear, causing a little shiver to go down my back.

His arms released me, much to my displeasure before walking over to his seat beside me and telling me to follow through. Like a hopeless idiot in love, I followed behind him, until I was situated in between my best friend and potential crush.

When asked about his absence yesterday, he replied by saying that he slept late and couldn't manage to wake up in the morning. I told him about yesterday, excluding the part of Harper and Zayn because I doubt any brother would like the idea of their little sister seen with a heartbreaker. Wow how ironic.

As we were conversing, with the occasional touches from Harry, in walked Olivia. She spotted me, and her eyes looked around for an empty seat closer to mine. She started walking in our direction, closing in on my right where Harry sat, and took the seat beside him.

"The office said I needed to wait a bit more for one AP calculus book, but other than that I've got them all." Olivia informed me, looking past Harry. I nodded, not really knowing what to say.

"Hello," Harry's deep voice drawled, "I don't think I've had the pleasure of meeting you. I'm Harry." When Olivia realised that a proper Greek god was beside her, something in her sparked. She straightened her posture, arching her back slightly and her hand instinctively went up to fix her hair.

What is going on?

"I'm Olivia." She smiled in greeting, her bottom lip slowly disappearing into her mouth as she bit on it.

Something tugged in my heart as I saw all of Harry's attention divert towards her. We obviously weren't a thing and I couldn't care less about how many female friends or interests he had. Honestly, no matter how much I liked him, I'd rather have him as a long term friend than a school romance. Or maybe this was an excuse? He had all the qualities I'd ever want in a man.

But the fact that he didn't once look at me throughout the class sort of hurt. It was like she was his shiny new toy...while he was mine...? That was my way of explaining things.

I could feel the sympathetic stares Noah gave me while we talked. She knew I didn't want the topic to be brought up, so she didn't bother with it. Gosh I love her so much.
