"Hey Zara, wait up." Harry's voice echoed through the empty hallways. I halted, turning around so I could face him. Raising a curious brow, I motioned for him to continue."Did you need something?" I frowned. It was now a rare occurrence for him to approach me anymore.
"Of course not silly." He cracked a smile. "Do I have to need something to talk my Zara?" An amused smile played on my lips.
Bītch...
So he wants to come around now...? After all the damage has been done?
"Nope." I casually shrugged, leaving him behind as I walked away. I heard some hurried footsteps behind me as Harry came and stood beside me.
"I'll walk you to class." He offered with a grin. "Like old times."
You've only been here like a week, what the fūck...
From behind his beautiful head of brown locks, I saw the familiar platinum blonde at his locker. Sending an uneasy smile Harry's way, I quickly ran to Lorcan and hugged him tight.
"Help me! He's not leaving me alone!" I pleaded in a hushed tone. A quiet laugh was heard before Lorcan lifted his head and winked at me as he saw Harry come closer. I pulled away from him, leaning against a locker and spectating the two of them.
"Hey, sorry didn't catch your name." Lorcan mused, looking straight at a fuming Harry. The latter ran a hand through his messy curls before a cold look fell upon his eyes.
"I'm Harry."
"Nice to meet you Harry, and now if you'll excuse us, Zara and I have to go." Just as Lorcan locked his arm around mine and was about to swerve me away from him, Harry grabbed ahold of my forearm and swiftly tugged me to his chest.
Shocked, I looked up at him; his sharp jaw was clenched and anger was brewing inside his green eyes. "I was just walking Zara to her class."
I glared at him now. What was his sudden desire to claim me like this? Who the hell does he think he is? "No you weren't. Lorcan and I were leaving."
"But Zara—"
"If you think for one second that I will let you back into my life this quickly, you're fūcking wrong." And with that, I laced my hands with Lorcan and got the hell away from there.

"Cheer up Zar. You did the right thing." Noah attempted to lighten my mood as I dropped my head on the table.
"Yeah, she's right. He deserved it." Lorcan encouraged, rubbing circles on my back.
Noah muttered something along the lines of 'of course I'm right' which immediately brought a smile to my face.
"Thank you." I was genuinely so grateful for the two of them. I was also glad it was these two wise people instead of Louis and Zayn. Louis would advise me to go to a party and drink away my problems, while on the other hand, by brother would first threaten to bash Harry's head in and then proceed to drown me in hugs and chocolate.
I could go for that actually.

The rest of the day seemed like a blur as I wasn't really focusing in any of them. I managed to sit as far away from Harry as possible in our mutual classes and ducked everytime I caught sight of him.
Life is great...not.
I opted for walking home today. Guess fresh air would do me some justice and give me time to get my thoughts together.
Walking by the same park I had coincidentally met Harry before, I spotted an ice-cream van and made my way there. After getting one scoop of chocolate chip ice-cream, I paid and found a bench to sit on.
I would forgive Harry. I know I would. It's not his fault really. I mean, it is, but then again, it isn't. This is so confusing, I sighed, leaning back against the bench. I looked up at the sky, watching two birds fly together and it instantly reminded me of the scene from "The Notebook."
'If you're a bird, I'm a bird.'
A smile made its way on my face as I closed my eyes, exhaling slowly.
"Is this seat taken?" A familiar voice asked me, breaking me out of my thoughts.
