After our confessions, we caught each other up to date with all that had happened. He told me that moving to New York was a very drastic change as he was getting used to Westlake. He did love it there but it didn't feel like home. He finished his education and then finally took over his dad's business. Which explains his presence at this party. How did I forget it was a ball for the business industry?

Well, after his confession, his green eyes searched mine, urging me to speak. So I told him. I told him how the first year of college in San Francisco was absolutely shīt for me. I spent half my days crying or studying. Then I became homesick too which practically put me into depression for a few months. Then when my friends saw my horrendous state, they did their best to bring me back to my happy self after countless attempts.

So at the beginning of my second year, I cut off my hair as a way of letting a big part of my past go. It was probably a weird notion, but I still did it anyway. Then I started going out more and becoming very spontaneous, thus the basic rose tattoo on the side of my hip.

My head was rested on Harry's shoulder the entire time as he rubbed soothing circles on my hip and pressed small kisses on the side of my face to comfort me.

"I have to admit." Harry smiled sheepishly, "When I saw you at first, I couldn't believe my eyes. And then you were being all giggly with Gavin's son—"

"Lucas." I cut him off with a teasing smirk.

Harry rolled his eyes, "Right, yeah, Lucas. And I was just—well, obviously confused and hurt but I couldn't help but feel a little betrayed. I mean, I know you're mine and all...but..." he trailed off, his eyes not meeting mine.

I shook my head in amusement at his claim before kissing his neck which was the closest spot to me. "You're telling me? I used to cry in my dorm room every night thinking you were out there partying with hot girls."

"The partying, I won't deny, but to be honest I haven't found any girl relatively hot after you. No offence to every beautiful women out there, but your charm and beauty spoke to me on a whole other level." His cheeks tinted red at his confession and I cooed loudly, kissing him again.

"Do we even get an explanation?" A third voice came from the balcony door as Harry and I jumped to our feet. All of my friends stood there, arms crossed over their chests.

"Noah!" Harry hollered, running over to hug the petite girl he had last seen a long time ago. "Harry Styles, where the fūck have you been?" Noah laughed, wrapping her arms around his waist.

"Secretly plotting our wedding. I mean, Narry is the realest." He joked, making me shake my head and Noah burst out laughing.

"Back off mate, she's mine." Louis raised his fists up though his eyes were shining with anything but anger.

"So it finally happened! Who would've thought the class clown needed major hints to realise his best friend was in love him." Harry shook his head, biting back a smile.

"Oh come on! You knew too!?" Louis threw his hands up in exasperation. "Everyone knew, you dūmbfūck!" Lorcan hollered from the back, making Louis flip him the bird.

Harry and Louis clasped their hands in shake before grabbing each other in a hug.

"Hey! What about us!?" Zayn and Lorcan shouted, both of them jumping at the two boys with their arms spread wide. The bromance was getting too real now. After they all parted from the group hug, Zayn laughed, "Yes homo!"
