So i was reading an amazing book: Engaged to the Heartless Heartbreaker by  sapphiregirl22 and i got really emotional. When I get emotional I need some form of release and that for me is writing...

so without further ado...

The Heartless Heartbreaker:

The pain is bearable for now as I trudge forward

Waiting for the smile you'll cast my way like you did to her

And her and her and all the others

My tears are at bay now as I wash my face

Hoping that you'd be nice today

And the next day and the next day just like you are to those that come your way

But you never stop hurting me and I never stop hurting

And you can't seem to stop yourself even when I'm crying

So I found myself and gave up trying

And that's when I couldn't seem to stop lying

We lied to each other as we hid our darkest fears

We fought and hurt the other as we ignored the tears

And tears and tears that we've shed all those years

The lies are piling as they scheme against us

Plotting to destroy the love that we've lost

And lost and lost each and every time you hurt me some more

But I move on just as you're coming around

And I've been hurt so much that I can't tell if it's real or not

So my defense mechanism kicks in and I walk away

Begging for release as you drive away.

Years are gone now and I believe that I'm ok

While you watch from the sidelines as I go about the day

And days and days that have passed away

While we still are deceived by the liars around us

Being hallowed out by the games that they've set up

And set up and set up just to drive apart our timeless love

But somehow we still find each other

As you push your way back into my little tower

That I've put up to safe guard myself from the pain

Vowing that for you I'd never cry again.

So as you push and push and the secrets come tumbling down

We heal each other as we kiss away the frowns

And as I smile, I see a new future

With the man who I used to call my Heartless Heartbreaker.
